AMERICA - The Right Way!! (WEEKEND EDITION: Days 2273 and 2274) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | April 14, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 04/14/2007 5:23:08 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

A top Iranian official wants to have public talks with Pelosi.

The cleared Duke basketball players are contemplating suing the DA that prosecuted them.

ABC News, however, says we shouldn't feel sorry for the Duke basketball players. Could it be the double standard that whacked Imus is in play here? One has to wonder...

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Yes, you can’t beat their bread, as long as you eat it the very day your buy it, or put it in plastic with a moisture dispenser. I’ve bought their wonderful “french” bread, and could have used it as a hammer on the second day. Yep, I bought it in Paris and brought it back to Germany. Oh, how disappointed I was, cause the first day it was wonderful, with cheese and a delictable red wine. (house of course)

I gave my tickets to the Lincoln Dinner away (second row of tables).

There’s absolutely NO WAY I’ve got the patience to sit and listen to 10 speakers.

Tommy Tompkins gave the absolute BEST, “UnCanned” presentation in front of our Caucus.

Romeny did very well, but it was quite ‘scripted’. Tommy just stood up there and let stuff roll out, as we asked questions.

(5 y.o. grandson has just asked me how old I was when they INVENTED CARS)

And the 9 y,o, and I have been discussing global warming.

I wish they’d wind down. I’m ready for bed myself.

"Since dark is what brings out your light."

................that's our Kay........

"So when at times the mob is swayed
To carry praise or blame too far,
We may choose something like a star
To stay our minds on and be staid.
"

Yes. Something for all of us to remember.......

((((Molly))))

I love the poem, and as I read through the words I remembered the music also.

Speaking of concerts I played for the recital out at the university (just got home in fact)................half-way through ones of the pieces I literally felt myself start to pass out, and had to WILL myself to finish the piece. We left the stage and before the next piece I splashed water on my face and ran cold water over my wrist (read somewhere that it can help revive you.)

I did fine during the slower movements but the fast, difficult passages just knocked me out. It was hot under the lights, I still have very little energy, even though most of the flu symptoms have subsided, and believe me it's hard to play well when your hands are shaking. I finished everything, and everything went okay, but I know if I had been feeling better I would have sounded better too.

Oh well. Sometimes the best you can do........is to just do the best you can, under the circumstances.
