Well ole Imus, engaged mouth before engaging brain again, this time it has done him in it looks like. What makes me mad are the two ‘speech experts’. Sharpton and Jackson. Who are they to have the right to say anything, one with a ‘yard child’, the other a flim flam artist.
Think I am going to till the garden today, got to get my plants out, now it the time to plant, Easter is over and we NEVER plant before then. I also need to go and get some more type plants, and some grit seed. I have been saving my chicken ‘waste’ and put it in buckets and then filled them with water, helps with grow greatly. Horse ‘waste’ I have just been spreading one the garden plot, now to turn it over.
The first week of next month we meet with the court bout Jason and we think he is going to fast track the adoption by D and SIL, his parents who in jail for a bunch of years have signed the ‘give him up’ papers so, we are encouraged. I can’t wait until I can put his picture on FR for all to see, some kind of ruling they have now is the reason I have not got it out for all to see and yes, I understand that we are not the first to adopt a child but I can bet we are just about the most excited to adopt.
OK, off to do the hard labor in the garden, I will check in on my breaks (one every 10 minutes),

The hypocrisy comes when people who have "pushed the envelope" beyond what used to be called acceptable boundaries of taste and community standards now appeal to the standards they helped to eliminate.

Apparently that's completely off-limits even to Rupert Murdoch.

The frost we had two nights in a row has really made the pool cccold but I perservered and did my laps and now I’m inside in sweat pants! LOL
Went to FirstCare at the hospital last night, where I was diagnosed w/influenza, aka the flu...............viral.............so no treatment, although they did give me a dandy anti-inflammatory shot which relieved the symptoms enough that I was able to more or less sleep through the night for the first time this week.
Fever is finally down this morning but still feel pretty awful so cancelled my schedule for the day (again)................hoping I can pull myself together for a couple of hours tomorrow afternoon to rehearse at the university for a recital I'm supposed to be playing for on Saturday night. If I can salvage that much from this week I'll be happy. Well, not happy. But. Satisfied. Sort of.
Back to couch.
Yikes, Mozie. What a terrible time of year to have the flu. Not that there’s ever a good time...
Drink plenty of fluids. That and rest are sometimes the best things we can do when we’re that sick. (((Hugs)))
I am waiting on Sharpton and Jackson to apologize to the Duke Lacrosse kids.
I saw the interviews last night on Hannity, O’Really & Greta. I think the thing that struck me most was the parents. That Mother wanted to say things she didn’t say. I admire her self control. I would have come unglued about what “Tinfoil” had done to my son.

Oh, no. I just heard on the radio that the WH is saying that thousands (?) of e-mails between Karl Rove and others were accidentally deleted. Many of the e-mails pertained to the fired AG’s.
Shades of a Nixon White House just got strengthened due to incompetence.
I’ve had one of those dandy anti-inflammatory shots once. It helped a lot but I still had to get over the stuff.

Jackson has already refused to apologize making it sound like the boys even hiring a stripper made her a victim, like she was a slave that was forced to accept the job.
I saw The Flannerty’s (think that’s the name or something similar) on Greta’s show. Mr. Flannerty made it a point to describe how very difficult this was for the three moms. Basically said they took it harder than the dads.
The Flannerty’s were very classy in their answers, refused to lash out. I’m wondering if CNN/MSLSD/SOUPS even interviewed any of the parents....?? Anybody know??
I’m not sure it’s possible to wish enough blessings onto these young men and familes after what they’ve been put through. But I’m trying..:^)

when I am at DC for the freeps about half the people are their screen names as I simply forget their names along the way or just inadvertently call them by their names.. like GUNS, TAKOMA/Tiggles, trooporally(both); BUFORD etc.

Thank you! I am eating a quick bite at the computer. I went to the grocery and cleaners, and have to hurry as I am going to pick up my granddaughter at 3:30, and then meet the others when they get off the buss. I won’t be home until late, but will check in this evening.
