My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Our squirrel population might have been what attracted coyotes. There don’t seem to be fewer squirrels, though, and they are always finding ways around our squirrel defeaters.

The one that works doesn’t allow bigger birds. The best I’ve found that’ll at least give birds like the red-bellied woodpecker a chance, needs daily maintenance.

Warm, my old bones love the warm
yet shun the humidity swift
so the movie house, a coffee house
an air-conditioned lair
where I can hide without care
till the sun glow is douse
by nights shifting lift
amid the hurry of star swarms

Zephyr the warm wind
caresses her bare shoulders
lifts wisps of hair across
her face and gently touches
the gauze of her garment
billowing like an airship

while the stars gather to watch
aurora’s coloured hair wave
over the Northern sky, as
Saturn's rings becomes
an astral slide for night lovers
bowing to the beauty of
Cassiopeia's realm.

Humidity is the amount of water vapor in the air. It is measured in three ways: absolute humidity, relative humidity, and specific humidity. Relative humidity is the most frequently encountered measurement of humidity because it is regularly used in weather forecasts. It is an important part of weather forecasts because it indicates the likelihood of precipitation, dew, or fog. Higher relative humidity also makes it feel hotter outside in the summer because it reduces the effectiveness of sweating to cool the body by preventing the evaporation of perspiration from the skin. This effect is calculated in a heat index table. Warmer air has more thermal energy than cooler air; thus more water molecules can evaporate and stay in the air in a vapour state rather than a liquid state. This may be why people say that warmer air “holds” more moisture — in warmer air, there is more energy for more water molecules to hold themselves in the air (and overcome hydrogen bonds which seek to pull water molecules together).
