My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Take with glee. If you had a guard with you at all times, you'd be virtually free of worries.

Doing better, must be the meds. As usual I’m tuckered from teaching last night, but not as much.

The day is gray and 60, going to rain in a few hours. I was just about to head out for a few minutes, pick up some sticks in the yard. I should be washing windows.

The weather here is absolutely lousy, it’s cold and currently raining. A complete washout - glad I have no appointments.

I thought I was lazy yesterday, but in hindsight I see I was not, I did laundry, baked a casserole for dinner and made Banana, Date and Nut bread from scratch. I did a lot of sleeping in between those chores. LOL

I think that’s what’s coming our way for tomorrow. We need rain to wash in the lime and lawn foods and it’s only supposed to rain the one day. Besides, buds and flowers will explode.

Hello, and good day to you. So far, I am well and it’s wet outside, again.

Oh well, can’t stop the rain!

How goes your day?

It has been a hectic 3 days so far. First aid, CPR and AED training for 8 hour and then a 9 hour day on Monday, a 12 hour day on Tuesday and it looks like another 12 hour day today. Other than that, everything is fine. 8^)

With all the training you’ll be ready for any emergency-that’s a good thing.

With my demonic streak, I particularly like the AED portion of the training. LOL.

This one isn’t so bad, it only delivers 50,000 volts to the downed person. I must say that the chances of survival increase dramatically when workplaces and homes have them handy.

Yes, I can well imagine. Heart attacks can happen to anyone anytime.
Good to know how to use one of those machines properly.

No lightning flashes are preferred.:)

I happen to be a First Responder to medical emergencies at work.

We have a lot of old farts such as myself working there. LOL

We also have a lot of overweight people as well. If the AED can be applied within 6 minutes the chances of survival from a heart attack rise as high a 50%
