[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

The Weaver

My life is but a weaving, between my God and me,
I do not choose the colors, He worketh steadily.
Ofttimes he weaveth sorrow, and I in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper, and I the underside.
Not till the loom is silent, and the shuttles cease to fly,
Will God unroll the canvas, and explain the reasons why
The dark threads are as needful in the skillful weaver’s hand
As threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned.

He knows, He loves, He cares,
Nothing this truth can dim.
He gives His very best to those
Who leave the choice with Him.

It’s has been a quiet day
the Lair is silent now
it beckons all the winds at play
to unloosen every hair
to go a wilding on an April night
to view the nights sky through
a gossamer, cosmic, kaleidescope
see the colours red, scarlet and blue
azure, teal, and crimson,
chartreuse, lemon gold
with orange and gold a glimmering
all ours to behold.

A velvet night a wondering
a night's skies many sights
while soaring to the highest heights
alight the way tonight.

To A Butterfly

Ah, sunshine today, the day is looking good!

It is still dark outside. However, the coffee is hot and strong. That is just what I need to obliterate the cobwebs.

Early day for you then, must be lots of work.

I try not to be up before the sun any more, it does happen on occasion.

Coffee, what would be do without it??

I don't even want to think about it. LOL I do believe that it is better than those energy drinks.

I guess drinking coffee is a habit been doing it all my life. The thought of a cup of tea just does not have the same punch as coffee, however tea has as much caffeine as coffee so I am told.

Regarding the caffeine in tea, I was told the same information. Coffee has a habit with me since my days in the Navy.

Boy I tell you the time really flies when you are having fun. I have to run around in the shower and start getting ready for the day. I will check in from time-to-time to see what is going on in the Lair.
