I saw Def Leppard at a free concert in front of Wal-Mart in San Antonio in 1999. That’s when I knew they were at rock-bottom...

They played at a local county fair, in a reasonably large hall with “festival” style seating. It was a really outstanding show. They were virtuosic in their playing and seemed to be having a really good time.
