When I heard OQ make that statement, I wondered if this is exactly what he was hoping. Who knows what he has on HKS.

Lets hope OQ has something substantial and provable.

Oh I know, I’m just saying that HK$ is trying to make the argument that ANS didn’t want Virgie near the baby, but she also said the same thing about Larry, yet HK$ is supposedly not fighting LB for custody now.

Did you by any change hear the CTV reporter who’s down in the Bahamas talking about his conversation late yesterday, one on one, at the hotel, with OQ? I wish I could find the exact wording of what he said, because he was pretty clear that what OQ told him was that an agreement had been reached, they were happy with it, and today was pretty much suppose to go accordingly.

I think poor Daniel was probably scared to contact his family in Texas. He may have thought that Anna would cut him off if she found out. I don’t think there was any contact. I wish they had been but when the Texas clan had the funeral they had Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle decorations and such because that’s all they knew of him. They didn’t know him as a teenager or a young man and had no idea who he really was. Tragic.

Why do you think a grandmother would want “joint custody” with Larry and simply not a signed agreement regarding visitation? I think Larry assumed he would get full custody of the child. I feel badly for him.

Virgie & Larry to Meet Privately Tomorrow?

In a shocking announcement to the media, Virgie Arthur's lawyer, John O'Quinn, told reporters that Dannielynn's grandmother will meet privately with Larry Birkhead tomorrow, without any legal firepower in the room, "to figure out what they believe is in the best interest of this child -- and try to get it done."

According to O'Quinn, Birkhead and Arthur will try to hammer out a custody solution that the court will ultimately "like and approve."

Birkhead left the courtroom without commenting on the situation.

IMO...I dont like the arrangements. If they are having a meeting tomorrow, why will it take a week to get back in court. They keep saying it is in the best interest of Dannielynn. IMO it is not in Dannielynn’s or Larry’s best interest to be in that house with HKS for another week.

Then what’s the TMZ article and other news coming out of court today? There was a reporter just now on TV saying the same thing.

For whatever it’s worth, my 2 cents stands as I stated this morning. Virgie does NOT want custody, but she MUST ask for it, even though she would settle for temporary guardianship (in the Bahamas) and a visitation schedule in the State. As I said earlier....

Kimberly, I am a Virgie supporter too, but this is ridiculous to do this in the Bahamas. Furthermore, what good is guardianship in the Bahamas when it wouldn’t stand up in the US? After he brought the baby home? The states have grandparent rights and she should have visitation, but guardianship is not her ‘right’, since the child’s father is fit to parent. To stall this out in the Bahamas is only keeping that child with HKS longer and IMO is starting to show me maybe she isn’t all about Dannielynn. She should let LB take that baby home and THEN pursue action in the US if LB doesn’t allow her to see Dannielynn. IMO anyway.

Honestly, if someone had my daughter and her father’s mother was stalling me getting my child just so SHE could have GUARDIANSHIP of MY child... turn this around in the mother’s point of view if the father’s mother was doing this. It would piss me off!!

I agree. There are FReepers here who probably remember more than I do, but I THINK she hadn’t seen him for about ten years. Yes, he could have seen her and she could have visited him if either wanted to. I always thought that was strange.

The only reason for his presence that I can figure is he currently has custody of DL under Bahamian law (birth certificate).

He wouldn’t want anything to happen to Larry Birkhead. Then Virgie is next in line for custody (behind Larry’s family of course)
