I think he just didn’t want to provide DNA because...he knew he was not the father.
According to Rale HKS hasn’t made a “dime” since ANS died and so it obviously went to a 3rd party.
Either a trust set up for Dannilynn that Howard has access to and allow the “lies” that he didn’t receieve it...
or...
possibly Flurtz chocolates is a cover company that has been laundering cash skimmed from the ANS image. Possibly this company (or others HKS has set up in the Bahamas or elsewhere) have been receiving money.
That's possible too. But if he really wanted us to believe that HE believed he was the father, he should've given up his DNA when Larry did.

Body language was very clear in that moment. It was a desperate move on HKS part in an attempt to show the public that he was really a good guy and on Larry’s side after all.
Howard's little speech yesterday would NORMALLY be done by an attorney in a case like this.....something like, we will pursue every option....blah, blah, blah.

I think she had to have given her statement sometime in November or December. The first nanny’s statement was Dec 4th. ANS was in the hospital Oct 31-Nov 5.
The first inquest had been set for Oct 23rd, then canceled. Eviction had been set for Oct 31 - and she conveniently got sick with pneumonia and had to be hospitalized.
The nanny statement was just a few days after she was let go or quit Nov 30, so I’m not sure what the police’s schedule was for taking written statements from witnesses. Just trying to guess at a timeline on Anna’s.
What about the Playboy spread?
Did HKS negotiate that contract and where did that money go to? That would be a significant amount of cash....
One of the barely literate posters at TMZ calls him the “dried up apple head witch doll” man. And ya know, it’s a pretty close description!
I’m looking at the pictures you posted of Larry and the Stern after the hearing. I keep wondering how someone (Stern) can live in the Bahamas all these months and still be pasty-white. That would be a form of Hell. Living in a paradise, but being confined to sort of a dark underworld (self-imposed house arrest with the windows covered up).
I kind of think that he is coming back to reality and, with the help of his handlers, is trying to salvage his image and the opportunity to retain any involvement with Anna’s remaining assets, HotSmoochieLips, etc.
The gig is up with the whole husband, father thing and he now has to reassess what possible opportunities there are to continue to live off of Anna. Larry Birkhead now holds all of those cards, so it has become in his best interest to attempt to ally himself with Larry.

Yeah, that doesn’t sound like a NORMAL, untense, trust inspiring situation for an infant. That, plus the BS “transition.” What an infant needs is dependability and predictability - her nanny could come to stay with the LB camp for a week or so. Infants pick up on moods. I’m sure being around the HKS group, grieving or lamenting their loss - in their own fashion ( probably a lot of victimized, retaliatory planning) is NOT a good feeling environment right now.
Plus keeping DL there during the inquest is indeed a HUGE “Gun to the head” for any people involved in the inquest who care/fear for DL. It’s part of HKS still trying to control the situation for his own benefit.

I also thought about the vasectomy angle....and that Howard had one and when the story about Thompson came up, they switched the stories while Anna screamed "You both have had vasectomies??"
Look, Anna was in control. If she wanted a baby with Howie, according to his "wish" theory, they would have had a baby. There's a reason it's not his..He's Yuk!!
I agree that the nanny is the most important figure in the transition and the baby and nanny can be moved immediately to a location other than Horizons.
Hopefully Larry is getting a short time rental as we speak.

The problem was, though, that he KNEW he wasn’t the father. So, he had to play this indignant position saying that Anna said he was the father, his name was on the birth certificate, yada, yada, Larry wasn’t even with her, yada, yada...hoping that Bahamian law would protect him and he could hide behind the “legal” father birth certificate thing.
Once Anna died, though, more media scrutiny was put upon him, more people came out of the woodwork saying that Anna had told them Larry was the daddy, and the true picture of the whole “Bahama” plan was clear...HKS’s only hope was to NOT have to submit to the paternity test. Once he did...the charade was over, and he knew it.
She really was, because there were all kinds of excerpts out when Daniel died - and ANS had commented on the book on one of her scheduled ET appearances.
Donna was all over radio & TV here locally back then and I didn’t listen to a word of it because it was embarrassing to hear such ignorance. She was on one morning show yesterday and still just as bad.
At least, after reading this little bit about her, I know Don Hogan married that woman he was engaged to in the first show I saw him on. The one whose name I didn’t quite catch and never could find. Last name sounded like “Menyaska” or “Monasco” or something and I have the first name somewhere in notes.
I just *so* don’t care about this part of ANS’s family.
