AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 2265) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | April 6, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 04/06/2007 3:46:46 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

Iraq is issuing some new, big oil contracts--the first such large contracts since the war started. And the winner of the contracts? NOT the United States--they aer going to countries such as Cniha, India, and other Asian nations.

On Rush's show, Vice President Cheney agreed the DemoncRATS are Stalinists.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I’m sick about our azaleas. As you said, they’re too big to cover and they are in full bloom right now. We have friends coming from CT to stay for a week; they’re coming a week from today and I was so hoping the shrubs would still be blooming. Dang it.

Anyway, I’m calling my hair dresser first thing tomorrow morning and see if I can change that appointment Tuesday morning. The live thread will be a hoot.

ROFL! If I knew how to do graphics, we could come up with a really cute graphic coupon to help you sell those carbon footprints.

Good evening, everyone.

Back from the hospital.

I'm happy to say...the operation went well. They are doing a biopsy , but the doctor said "if it was me, I would not be concerned."

It's amazing how He works!!

Just when I begin to doubt things..He ..fills me with encouragement. I'm blessed with friends who care and who offer prayers.

Love you ALL and thank you!

Molly, how are you feeling? I hope you won the cold fight.

Oh, very, very good news, lysie. I’m so glad you found out today too, instead of having to wait over the weekend. Is your dad alert enough from the anesthesia to know this good news?

It doesn’t surprise me that it was chlorine. JT’s battalion found that cache a couple weeks ago. I suspected that there was more than the one cache.

Here's the WH site for this year's collection each state's Easter egg. There are some really beautiful ones, but I'm not too fond of NC's. I like the ones from Florida and Mississippi however.

I don’t like Alabama’s egg. Too much glitter. I do like Texas’s egg. I am working my way down the alphabet.

Arizona’s egg is nice. Arkansas is... well, good.

California - too polished
Colorado - nice, an Indian motif
Connecticutt - I wasn’t sure there was an egg under there!
Delaware - They are proud of their college. It’s nice they have one.
Florida - original cutting style. I like the execution of the birds.

I expected the Jersey egg to show a crooked politican stuffing money in his pockets...:-)

Betcha a small bowl of buttered GRITS would make her feel great and will help with a good nights sleep.

Oh, good, lysie. He’ll be happier at home.

To give you a smile tonight, I am copying Phsstpok’s post from another thread:

I just flipped past The Daily Show and Governor Richardson (Clintonista) was on. He was talking about how he had negotiated with foreign governments, probably as part of laying out his qualifications to be President.

The host, Jon Stewart, responded:

“So, you’ve negotiated with Saddam, you’ve negotiated with the Taliban and you’ve negotiated with North Korea, and those all worked out so well for us...”

That’s gonna leave a mark!

Mark it down. I am now a devoted Jon Stewart fan.

Georgia - a very elegant magnolia. This is the best so far.
Idaho - too much glitter and really not the best presentation for the picture.
Illinois - still trading off on President Lincoln. The problem with this pic is that his eyes are cock-eyed as if he’d been imbibing a bit too much wine.
Indiana - excellent detail, a nice presentation of American Folk Art.
Iowa - I’m sorry, I didn’t like it. It wasn’t glittery but I didn’t think the execution was done well.
Kansas - wheat
Kentucky - how could you do a sloppy job of painting something one color? The blue looks sloppy to me. I love the horses, but then I always love horses.

LOL! I do think y’all outdo Alabama in crooked politicians, but it is close. I ‘magine that y’all say, like us, “Thank God for Louisiana!”

GC6, I have decided that I don’t need to change my lifestyle one iota. We own two lots, one has a house, the other is solid trees. That’s enough carbon offsets to do anything.
