Put up or shut up, anti-Apple/iPod whiners. You wanted DRM-free music using a non-proprietary encoder, so here you go - AAC-encoded (open standard) DRM free music.
Now you have to go buy it - or shut the heck up when it fails because nobody was interested.

I don’t know... For myself, I’ll continue to save 30 cents per track because the Fair Play DRM is more than fair enough for my use.
Five computers, three iPods, and that’s all I need.
But wait until the anti-Apple/iPod “whiners” get started... They’re main complaint is going to be that they have to pay more to get more...

Jobs does get it. 128 AAC is pretty good, relative to MP3, but 256 AAC would be better and probably worth the added cost.
