As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
Iran is planning to charge the 15 British sailors with illegal entry into its territory. On a related matter, Iran said it will limit cooperation with the UN after the world body voted to impose sanctions when Iran refused to halt nuclear enrichment.
Senate Republican have blocked a measure that would have allowed Algore to stage his Live Earth concert on the Capitol grounds.
The eko-wackos in Sydney, Australia, are seeking to have that city become the first to stage an hour-long globull warming blackout--yep, turn out the city lights. The city has agreed, though participants have to volunteer--the city itself will darken government buildings for the hour, and thousands of residents also will join in. Restaurants have indicated they will serve dinner by candlelight--no word from the fire marshall on that.
And President Chavez of Venezuela has announced he will work toward the creation of "collective property" in that country.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
LET'S ROLL!!!
An off day for me here! Ah--alternative work schedules are nice!
Lucky you for the alternative work schedule, and thanks for the start!
Ever notice how the envirowackos' voices get shriller as more evidence mounts that their ecoreligion is based on falsities?
Wrong on Timetables Bill Kristol
Earmark Cover-Uo Pretty dull subject, but important nonetheless
Terrorists Language Iran
Minority Rule Mitch McConnell sets the agenda...Weekly Standard's Fred Barnes
lysie, is Sarah enjoying her car?? Thinking about some positive things here...
I'm off soon to go quilt, and exercise...
Bennett just had a caller...a trucker from central Indiana, and the call was so much fun, ending with the guy blowing his horn...that's a Bennett show requirement of the truckers who call in.
Toby, you know how much we love you and enjoy your companionship every day! Have a wonderful day!
Happy Birthday Toby. I hope you have a wonderful day.
Thanks, Molly, for the links and well-wishes! While we've been involved in a business remodel and other momentous (but positive) things in our lives, I've mostly been doing "drive-by's" on FR. I post at weird times or not at all. After Easter, our lives should settle down a bit so I can return to my FReepaddiction.
I spent a pleasurable afternoon yesterday cleaning out my front flower bed. I'm too lazy to do it in the fall (and can come up with ALL kinds of rationalizations/excuses why it's better to do it in the spring, LOL!), but find renewed energy for the task in the spring. My aubrieta, forget-me-nots, bugleweed, and dianthus are starting to green up nicely.
Dolly, sorry to hear about your computer woes; and hope you can get back online soon!
Have a wonderful day!
Good Morning to "All"! And a special HAPPY BIRTHDAY! greeting to you, Toby.
>>Iran is planning to charge the 15 British sailors with illegal entry into its territory.
Wasn't there an eye witness account of this?
Happy Birthday Toby. May your chickens lay more eggs, the horses stay in their pasture, Jason learn more words. This is YOUR day. Happy Birthday dear friend.
The fracture is a femoral neck fracture (the worst area), but I don't know how much of a displacement there is. As you all know her age is a big factor. :(
Dang it!!
They can't do anything for at least 5 days because they have to get her off the blood thinner Plavix.
I ask for prayers for my mil and Greg. Thank you.
(((hugs)))to you and yours dear friend.
(How are the nurses going to keep your MIL immobile in bed for 5 days?)
Hope you have a splendid day!
Hi Toby... trust today will be a wonderful one for you!
... and that includes your lovely family and Jason, your newfound friend and love.
We love you and think of you often and pray God's richest blessings upon you, especially today.
I think she will be on pain meds.
Greg will be coming home early. I would imagine we will go to the hospital later today.
