A new study finds that children who received better quality child care before kindergarten had better vocabulary scores later on than those who received lower quality child care. The study also finds that children who remained in child care longer were more likely to have behavior problems in the sixth grade. So they can mouth off to the teacher using two syllable words?

But, they say, parenting is a much more important predictor of a child's development. The study also finds that children who remained in child care longer were more likely to have behavior problems in the sixth grade.
I have 2 children. One was raised by a 'modern woman' complete with child care from the start. The other was raised by a wiser woman who was allowed to spend time with her child.
Difference of day and night. The first has all the values of a liberal, in other words, not much and has no idea where I'm coming from.

In the meantime, one daughter isn't speaking to me right now because I sent her the article this afternoon.
