This weeks Sci-Fi Listing:
Sun:
9/8 - Dresden Files --> Sci-Fi Network (Guest Star Claudia Black).
10/9 - Battlestar Galactica --> Sci-Fi Network (Season Finale)
Wed: 8/7 - Jericho --> CBS
I'm sure it would be cheaper that way.
I'm thinking that the rights to "All Along the Watchtower" cost them a pretty penny (probably in the vicinity of ten grand---maybe less as they used their own arrangement).
If you went to bed with the one you love after that episode, you could have a Christmas baby before you see more BSG. (And after that, you might be too tired to watch!)
So 4 out of 5 non-Cylons may think that they are Cylons, even though they haven't exhibited any of the behavior of the original Galactica Sharon. Obviously, only four are present so you can wonder whether the fifth one is either Baltar or Starbuck.
I would've thought that these final five being so special that no one knows who they are, that they should at the very least be unique. Maybe Number One will be Unique. (Hmmmm, shades of "The Prisoner"?? Who is Number One?) -- (Actually, yes, "Who" is number one, but I'm talking about BSG now....)
Note that one of these four alleged Cylons fathered a child. And LOVE doesn't really play into it because, frankly, it was his second choice that he married. He settled. It isn't a Helo/Athena love affair.
On the other hand, it'd be kind of funny if three of these four "Cylons" were blasting Cylon sympathizers out the airlocks.
Well if there were aliens all over the place, then there would've been dozens of "New Capricas" by now -- places where humanity could've settled down. Likewise, had they found another alien civilization, would the Cylons have wiped them out once Galactica left?
Now that Baltar was found NOT GUILTY of his crimes, and can allege that he was a Prisoner of the Cylons after New Caprica . . .
Can he sue in court to regain his Presidency???
Rosalyn assumed the Presidency after being named VP under Richard Hatch who subsequently resigned.
The reasons for Baltar's removal from the top post: his absence and his crimes. He's back and was found Not Guilty. So? Does that mean that he should be President of the Colonies again?
Having aliens both opens interesting story lines and closes them. If you have aliens then you have the potential for allies (both for the humans and the Cylons), which is interesting. But if you have aliens then the whole "quest for Earth" thing loses a lot of oomph, yeah they want to find Earth but on the other hand if they find a nice alien civilization that can scare the Cylons and is willing to give the humans a nice subcontinent to call their own for a couple of centuries until they can get it together enough to re-expand why keep roaming around getting picked off by the Cylons. But really I'll take Ron at his word on this one, the forehead appliance of the week has got to get really boring for the writers.
Hmmm...I wonder if there needs to be a royalty payment then every time that episode gets rebroadcast? And what about U2's payment for performing it? I think they get royalties also for providing the arrangement and performance.
Still, this all is a bit much. Was this what David got the spike for in the logo, you think? (I know I do).
Here's what will happen. The Cylons will land on Earth and form a religion. They will infiltrate the general population by posing as harmless door to door magazine salesmen dressed in a white shirt and a black tie. What magazine will they be selling? Well, "THE WATCHTOWER" naturally.
It is a wonder to me why nobody has discovered the one true way to know if someone is a Cylon:
If you remember, both Number Six and Boomer/Athena had that red-light going up and down their back during SEX.
I mean, come on gang, if you change positions....you'll see the light! (pun intended)
Just a thought........ (Love the show BTW)
I wonder where we can get this song..
The ships from SG1 and Atlantis...
Ah. Thanks. Forgotten about that. No, actually, I don't think I ever knew that. Oddly enough, I've been wondering where this Council was ever since the President announced that the Colonial Fleet was settling on New Caprica. Didn't the Council have anything to say about how crappy things were even before the Cylons got there??
I think the council on New Caprica was more of Baltars Lacky...
I thought I was the only one thinking that way....
In addition, I'm figuring that Roslin is the last Cylon. Why else would the transfusion work to wipe out the cancer?
Well, at least there's the two-hour movie coming in October or November about the Pegausus...
Which leaves me looking forward to the return of Heroes.
Lost has nearly lost me, and I can't quite get into Jericho, though I've been trying.
Luckily, season three of Doctor Who starts Saturday night on BBC One (thank heavens for BitTorrent!)... The 'Gates will be back in a few weeks, then there's the last season of The Shield, and the next seasons of The 4400 (now THAT's a soap opera for you), and Eureka to hold me over until the BSG/Pegasus movie comes out...
That's a really interesting speculation. The only fact to set against it is that we see no evidence of cancerous cells in any other Cylons. It doesn't seem something one would allow to be continued in clones (being so cellularly destructive) so the model would have been discontinued and none allowed out of the 'factory' as it were.
Narratively, the best candidate is actually Lee Adama. The Cylons are currently missing a true alpha male model. I see D'Anna as the Eve in this conception.
A merger of the two has already happened with Athena and Helo, And Tyrol and Callie, So I would say this would be a omen of things to come.

Yep. Those were elements I was taking into consideration.
Dr Who Season Three starts on the BBC on the 31st
