actually, a terrier would be better. A cat would play with the mouse and let it go, a small dog will kill it and go looking for another one. I had good results with a dachshund but he was an extraordinary animal all around.

To be perfectly PC, he should have taken the mouse to a dentist to be fitted for tiny dentures, which would have solved the problem. Me, I would have loaned him my female mouser (named Rodman for good reason) which would have solved the problem a lot cheaper and permanently.
