My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I was too, busy for 40 years to be creative. That came later in life. I guess I was creative in another way.
I had a boring job and was able to fill in time by writing. The writing became stronger and the job went by the way. I worked at other things, none of which was creative. ;)

You know what Lady?? I cannot spell worth a damn.
To: Soaring Feather
Your creative skills were there all of the time. They were just napping. 8^)

You ain’t kidding they were in a coma. LOL

I didn’t plan it that way, but I work it that way. Make them laugh rather than be embarrassed about not being able to remember Renoir’s name or something . . .

Well, they certainly have blossomed like a caterpillar emerging from a cocoon to become a butterfly.

There was something about a guy that cut off his ear.

Yup, I took a chance
Columbus did and found
a new world
I listened for the muse
who tortured me in early days
it was she who taught me to fly.
She is a hard task master
at times will deprive me of sleep
until I do her bidding most complete
when she is done with me
she’ll sit nearby my ear
and when traffic gets to heavy
she brings me words of cheer. ;)
To: NY Attitude
That guy didn’t really cut off his ear.
What did he cut off?

It looks like you can spell worth a damn.
Do you use the spell checker all the time?

Often enough, yes. Really glad we have spell check.
Also, the browser I use tells me when I have mispelled a word.
Like now it says mispelled is spelled wrong, it is not. Got in a big fight over that one.
To: Soaring Feather
What browser is that that spell checks?

Puts a red line under doubtful spelling. Mozilla Firefox.
To: Soaring Feather
Cool! I didn’t know that about Firefox.

It’s a pretty good browser. There are a lot of bells and whistles that I choose not to download. Recently it updated so I am current. It does not allow word wrap.

I think that it was attached to something that protruded from his pajamas. (Big Grin)

Yes! The string, you know, the cinch string around the waist of his pajama bottoms was way too long. The nearest cutting implement was an old razor blade which he tried, but only manged to cut his finger. Infuriated, he jumped up from his chair and flung the razor blade. Finding the scissors, he headed back to the chair and tripped over his shoes. He landed flat on the floor and nicked his ear on the blade he’d thrown. At this point, he was so enraged that he cut the rest off. It was his earlobe. The only part of the above story that is true is he cut off his earlobe.

I know what you mean For me it seems that a “Brain Cloud” is present at the worst of moments. I guess that it is a sign of getting old-timers disease. LOL.
“Brain Cloud” lifted from the movie “Joe versus the volcano” starring Tom Hanks.
