My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

No morning sun out to greet me
but in the Dragonflies' Lair
I see, lines of poetry waiting
for me.
Good morning, NYA!

April Is Poetry Month

The sun was warm but the wind was chill.
You know how it is with an April day..
When the sun is out and the wind is still,.
You're one month on in the middle of May..
But if you so much as dare to speak,.
a cloud come over the sunlit arch,.
And wind comes off a frozen peak,.
And you're two months back in the middle of March..
- Robert Frost
Come, fill the Cup, and in the Fire of Spring
The Winter Garment of Repentance fling:
The Bird of Time has but a little way
To fly--and Lo! the Bird is on the Wing.

tiny wings beat fanning a buzz that hovers a single flower held in my hand that holds a desert bouquet while my eyes witness this mini oyster of bliss this fairy caresses me with a bellowed breeze from wings that flash purple irredecent crested sweetness that thirstily sips nectar milked unaware that its wonderousness fills me

UPON APRIL'S WELCOMING
April comes, and upon it's breeze, bears renaissance
And, virginity to natures host of newborn greenpeace
Shadows lift o'er, the glazing pattern, of mornings mist
Days longer now on through th' ides, of Aprils eventide
Buds so fresh and fragile blossom in between eyeblink
One nite, branches naked in their stand dress'd in frost
Yet, like majique, we awake to branches, clad in leaves
Mother Nature fails not each spring, to curry our interest
Sweeted rainfall quenches, th' earth that winter ravished
Penetrates, th' hardened dirt, that suffocates new growth
Nourishes, and promises it's loyalty.....to the Gifts of May
'N, April be th' Genesis to all that Life 'n Romance kindles
Frank James Ryan, Jr.

Hi, Love! How are you today?
It is lovely here, partly sunny and 60. Clouds will be piling up and rain will come tonight. So far, so good, right? Well, the latest TV forecaster thinks it's going to rain here all week, to which I say "Cr-r-r-rap!!"

At 2PM I walked out the front door to visit a neighbor up the road and it took me two hours to get there.
Everyone heard it was going to start raining this evening and pour off and on for the week, so it took about an hour per house due to the chatting. Got filled in, though!
Do you fish?

I thought that it looked familiar as it was a very long time ago when I read it.
