My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

You sure keep things interesting around here. LOL
I think you are going to be a ease when you arrive back in Taiwan so know it so well.
That's so nice you can take Lair Music with you. Cool.
Maybe you could take a look at you page and the site in general it has grown somewhat. ;)

LOL! Ha ha, that is absolutely charming! I love the Pied Piper luring you along my journeys. And the Fairy Queen, bentfeather page (it still says bentfeather!), plus Glen Gaul Way, and Dancing Alone page allows our hostess to express herself well!
And there are so many excellent poets there now, plus the Haiku page, and the pictures and graphics running throughout are delightful. Really nice.
I'm honored to contribute to such a fun project. I hope we can all add much more as the years go by!

Ah, thank you.
I wrote as bentfeather for years, so I shall keep the name in our Anthology.
It needs a lot more work, but it is fun for me. It gives something back to our wonderfully talented, poets. The pictures from you and NY Attitude add a special dimension.
I, too, hope we can have a lovely, virtual Anthology for many years to come. It is my pleasure and joy to do this.;)

Nature rarer uses yellow
by Emily Dickinson
Nature rarer uses yellow
Than another hue;
Saves she all of that for sunsets,--
Prodigal of blue,
Spending scarlet like a woman,
Yellow she affords
Only scantly and selectly,
Like a lover's words.

A Song
by Walt Whitman
COME, I will make the continent indissoluble;
I will make the most splendid race the sun ever yet shone
upon; I will make divine magnetic lands,
With the love of comrades,
With the life-long love of comrades.
I will plant companionship thick as trees along all the rivers of America, and along the shores of the great lakes, and all over the prairies;
I will make inseparable cities, with their arms about each other's necks;
By the love of comrades,
By the manly love of comrades.
For you these, from me, O Democracy, to serve you, ma femme! 10
For you! for you, I am trilling these songs,
In the love of comrades,
In the high-towering love of comrades.

Good to hear you are feeling like your self again, it does take a while to settle in.
I am doing well thanks, woke way too early again! We are in for a cold spell again, temps not going to make it to the 50s and the nights are danged chilly.
Talking with some folks who collect sap and make Maple Syrup, having a lousy year of it. Need warm days and cold nights for good sap flow.

A bit of humor for this morning. 8^)
It was fun being a baby boomer... until now. Some of the artists of the 60's are revising their hits with new lyrics to accommodate aging baby boomers.
They include:
Herman's Hermits --- Mrs.. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Walker.
Ringo Starr --- I Get By With a Little Help From Depends.
The Bee Gees --- How Can You Mend a Broken Hip.
Bobby Darin --- Splish, Splash, I Was Havin' a Flash.
Roberta Flack --- The First Time Ever I Forgot Your Face.
Johnny Nash --- I Can't See Clearly Now
Paul Simon --- Fifty Ways to Lose Your Liver
The Commodores --- Once, Twice, Three Times to the Bathroom.
Marvin Gaye --- Heard It Through the Grape Nuts.
Procol Harem --- A Whiter Shade of Hair.
Leo Sayer--- You Make Me Feel Like Napping.
The Temptations --- Papa's Got a Kidney Stone.
Abba --- Denture Queen.
Tony Orlando --- Knock 3 Times On The Ceiling If You Hear Me Fall.
Helen Reddy --- I Am Woman, Hear Me Snore.
Leslie Gore --- It's My Procedure, and I'll Cry If I Want To.
And last but not least:
Willie Nelson --- On the Commode Again

Willie Nelson --- On the Commode Again
ROTFLOL, good humor in the morning
helps to keep the grumpiness in tow
laughing like a loony
makes a smile grow!
This is called doggerel!
To: Soaring Feather
With a morning smile we show the pearlies,
some may say it is way to early,
to have such a pleasant manner,
and go out and wave the tweety bird banner.

LOL, too funny!
To: NY Attitude
Whether one's pearlie's
are enamel or plastic
flashing them daily
is ecstatic
having a full set
adds to the dramatic
effects of being diplomatic!
