Go to the link below the title (Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife), hit the orange button sorta in the middle of the page that says "View Cam Live."

When that comes up, you can switch between cams by using the dropdown list that says "View Another Live Cam!"

Our cams are:

EagleCam1 - Kent
EagleCam2 - Kent
EagleCam3 - Kent NEW!

Let me know if you have any problems.

He/she has been very restless. Getting up, looking at the eggs, repositioning.

It may be a trick of the light, but I thought I saw a small crack in one egg... could it be?!

Okay, here's one where you can see the eaglets a little better than the one I posted last night.

Dang! It keeps posting a different picture than what I'm seeing in previews! This is the nest at the Quabbin Reservoir, about 40 miles west of Worcester MA. HERE is the link to the page that has the streaming video, and it is up right now! Be sure to Refresh the page when you link to it. Also from that page, you can click on the Picture Gallery and look back at some still shots of the birds.

We're at 84 right now in E. Central MA! There's a nice breeze, though, so that helps.

I was just watching the video of the birds at the Quabbin, and noticed something I hadn't seen before. If you look past the nest and down below, you can see the water rippling in the reservoir! This is the first day that the streaming video has been on that it is also bright and sunny. You can tell the wind is strong because the sunlight is glinting off the moving water, the nest is moving, and the feathers on the birds are getting blown about.

Aw, sweet! One of the babies is preening his feathers! Well, his fuzz, anyway.

Way cool.

I wish the website had sound, as well. The first year we saw one of the Eagle sites, it was one in Northern Michigan, and it had SOUND as well as video. It was fun hearing the parents call to one another, when one was sitting on the eggs and the other was off hunting. It was even MORE fun when the babies arrived, and you could hear them chirping. Unfortunately, the second chick died after a couple of days because there had been a real icy rain for a couple of days, and the fist chick got most of the food that the parents brought. But it was still cute hearing that one chatter.

The chicks are making me nervous! They keep crowding to the side of the nest.

We might have a chick today... adult eagle is all fluffed up, and there’s new foliage inside the nest. Is that an eggshell I see?

False alarm, I see both eggs. Adult is fussing with them and stretching her wings. I’ll keep watching!

I was noticing the same thing...MUCH standing up and examining the eggs very carefully. He/She even rolled them around a little bit.

Mama’s acting strange... all fluffed up, looking down at her eggs.

My husband just called to tell me that he nearly had a midair with a bald eagle coming into the Tacoma Narrows airport a few minutes ago. He and the bird saw each other in time, and both took evasive action.

He said he now knows exactly what color a bald eagle’s eyes are.

I’m glad he missed the bird. Of course, I’m equally glad the bird missed him. Nothing like a midair with a bird that size to mess up your engines.
