AMERICA - The Right Way!! (WEEKEND EDITION: Days 2252 and 2253) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | March 24, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 03/24/2007 6:44:54 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

The 15 British sailors seized yesterday by Iran have been taken to Tehran.

The House, led by Nancy Pelosi and the DemoncRATS, voted 218-212 to set a timetable for surrender in Iraq.

The Iranian President cancelled his trip to the UN, citing delays in getting visas from the United States for his entourage--Washington confirmed the delays.

Recently, the doom and gloomers were reporting the Dow was presaging a recession after the large 2% correction it took. Media coverage--extensive. Last week? The best the Dow has had in four years. Extent of coverage? Almost non-existant.

And it's so easy, a sixth-grader can understand. Sixth graders in a Longmont elementary school voted to say globull warming was not being caused by humans.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Sorry for the lateness of the thread this morning. Mrs. Chairman and I hosted a dinner party last night (went well) that we didn't finish cleaning up after until early this morning.

Good morning everyone from my little piece of paradise. Sunny, slight breeze, high 82 degrees.

Methinks the clock is ticking regarding Persia. My wonder is how many acts of war do we take from Ahmanutjob before we start bouncing the rubble? There are 20,000 combat troops on the Iranian's eastern border, 140,000 troops on their western border, and 2 carrier battle groups on their southern border. And probably an Ohio class boomer within 6000 nautical miles of Tehran.

Tick, tick, tick...

Thanks for the start, Mr. Chair, late or otherwise! I love cooking and getting ready for dinner parties, and generally don't even mind the cleaning up afterwards as long as my hubby helps and we can use the time to hash over the party events. The hashing over is part of the fun for me.

I don't understand the term: Ohio Class Bomber.

Could you explain? I've been counting on you and Dog to get me up to speed on this stuff. Alas, you are working with a 'slow learner'.

Good Morning!

Sounds like it was a successful dinner party.
No apology needed we appreciate all that you do!!

What is anyone's guess where the Iran British sailors conflict is heading?

I don't understand the term: Ohio Class Bomber.

Yes ma'am, your wish is my command...

It is a type of nuclear powered submarine (SSBN). Ohio is the design and 'boomer' further describes that type of sub. Specifically, it has 24 Trident nuclear missiles, each capable of independent targeting of 8 warheads which can be 'dialed up,' (the yield in kilo tons of TNT), so to speak, with a range over 6,000 nautical miles.

So, lets say 24 missiles with eight warheads (at 300 kilo tons) gives you a pretty big bang.

GOPOD A.M. CHAIR, ALL, FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA, BRUISED BUT FIXING TO START SOON!!!!

The dimwitts, it is more important to them to get the president and anyone directly under him and the pubs than protect this country. We just saw a 'kill our troops' bill pass and more to come. Wonder how the troops over in Iraq are taking to this vote. I know that the enemy can just sit back and wait for us to be forced to leave and THEN start their 'cleaning house'.

By the way, UK, do NOT look for help from us if you get in trouble with Iran, ain't no way the elected department of defense send help to them.

Tell me, how can a 459 square foot 'shack in the back' get so dirty in just a few days, it has and not to clean.

Just wanted to get my day started, going to the church today and help plant some bushes, probably have to go to WalMart and get some compost and a new shovel, I killed mine when I ran over it on my tractor yesterday, big time...

Anyone hear from hayburner lately?

Kay, how're you doing?

I just returned from successful trip to downtown library where I found, then copied an old newspaper article from the local paper...1899 was the date. Not all research goes so smoothly so when this did, it's a great feeling!

Jane, tomorrow will be a very nice day. I'll look for things to do outside, following your example...there are enough twigs, that's for sure, in the yard to fill a couple of trash bags.

Excellent.

That was the year my dear Gramp was born. I'll always remember...I was told.."a year older than the year."

Good morning. Glad the party went well.

The media just can't make up their minds about those visas for Iranians traveling to the US. I've read various reports.

Tony Snow said yesterday the visas were approved. The State Department says the visas were approved. So I'm wondering what the real reason is why the trip to the UN was cancelled.

FNC: US says they issued 5 visas and our Iranian ambassador just said that there's still time for Amanannutjob to visit the UN and hopes he will visit the Holocaust museum as well.

LOL

I'd love to know why he really cancelled his speech at the UN; it must be very worrisome to the Brits.
