A female police officer punched another woman in a supermarket after her boyfriend was accused of eyeing the stranger up, a court heard.
PC Carla Street was said to have 'gone mad' in the Asda frozen food section as she struck Kelly Osborne.
The fight broke out following a heated argument between the partners of the two women.
After being arrested, the officer admitted slapping the woman in the face but only as a 'pre-emptive strike'.
Miss Osborne, 28, said she was shopping with her partner and son of two when she noticed Lee Gregory, 28, 'looking her up and down'.

I thought they were talking about Kelly Osbourne, as in Ozzy's daughter. The woman in this article is older than her and this woman in the article's last name is spelled without a 'u' as Osborne.
