As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
Iran has turned back inspectors that attempted to look at its nuclear production facilities.
Russia has told Iran "nyet" on nuclear fuel unless enrichment is halted.
Israeli drones have been spotted flying over Iraq.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Quiet here today, isn't it?
...Maybe a little too quiet...
;)
It seems everytime the democRATS and screaming media go after a Republican's skin, that Republican is let go. BUT when a democRAT breaks the law, such as freezing $100,000.00 from a foreign country for illegal favors, that democRAT is kept in place and even given an important job in their party. It just grates my grits when I see this.
Sure is, we seem to be running a dry spell for some time now, gotta get the folks coming back and chat.
It is quiet here today. I just got back from Waco checked in and hardly anyone is here.
Yesterday I sent congratulations to lysie, I meant it for kayak and family. Finnegan is a big boy.
Checking out for the evening.
Good night kind lady, hoping you are feeling better. Talk to you in the A.M
Are you feeling under the weather too, Granny? Take care sweetie, don't overdo.
Toby, how are the muscles doing today?
Hi. Just checking in. Long babysitting day today. I will check in tomorrow morning.
Quote of the day...
"The next generation will face a choice between two evils -- a crushing tax burden that is double what we pay today, or a federal government that consists entirely of entitlement programs." - JEB HENSARLING
"...more young Americans believe in UFOs than believe that their Social Security benefits will be available they retire"
One Sunday, just minutes before services started, the townspeople were sitting in their pews and talking.
Suddenly, Satan appeared at the front of the church. Everyone started screaming and running for the exits, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get away from evil incarnate. Soon, everyone had fled the church except one elderly gentleman who sat calmly in his pew without moving, seemingly oblivious to the fact that God's ultimate enemy was in his presence.
Satan walked up to the old man and said, "Don't you know who I am?"
The man replied, "Yep, sure do."
"Aren't you afraid of me?" Satan asked.
"Nope, sure ain't," said the man.
"Don't you realize I can kill you with a word?" asked Satan.
"Don't doubt it for a minute," returned the old man, in an even tone.
"Did you know that I could cause you profound, horrifying, physical agony forever?"
"Yep," was the calm reply.
"And you're still not afraid?" asked Satan.
"Nope."
More than a little perturbed, Satan asked, "Well, why aren't you afraid of me?"
The man calmly replied, "Been married to your sister for 53 years."
I'm telling jokes to myself this morning
Q. What does HMO stand for?
A. This is actually a variation of the phrase, "HEY MOE." Its roots go back to a concept pioneered by Moe of the Three Stooges, who discovered that a patient could be made to forget the pain in his foot if he was poked hard enough in the eye.
Q. I just joined an HMO. How difficult will it be to choose the doctor I
want?
A. Just slightly more difficult than choosing your parents. Your insurer
will provide you with a book listing all the doctors in the plan. The
doctors basically fall into two categories: those who are no longer
accepting new patients, and those who will see you but are no longer
participating in the plan.
HAHAHAHAHAHA! Except the last joke. It is the truth. Therefore, not funny.
I hate health insurance companies. I think they are the reason health care is so expensive.
Good morning.
Good morning to you.
S-O-R-E, even my toenails hurt....got more to do today here at home.
Over the weekend I started some annual seeds and also tomatoes and peppers. I started 60 tomatoes (Better Boy and Early Girl) and 60 pepper plants (several varieties of bell peppers and some hot peppers). We will see how well I do at seed starting.
If it warms up enough I am going to clear out the flower beds around the patio and up by the back porch. Bulbs are starting to come up and I would like them to show without a surrounding of straw, sticks, and leaves.
Hubby is home today with a severe cold, which I think he caught from the grandkids. He went back to bed, and I am puttering around trying to not make too much noise.
