A Norwegian hutner with a .454 Casull forces a Giraffe to "do things to him" at gunpoint.

I like to see him try that with a Rhino....Hunting for food is one thing but this is nuts.

He's gonna need a pretty big living room if he's gonna full-mount that thing.

I take it that the Giraffe is really dead?
What's the point in killing a Giraffe?

What's the point in killing a Giraffe? That was my first thought.. a Giraffe is one of the least sporting things you can kill on a safari. They are a pretty big target that won't charge back...
Now.. if he has a BBQ, that is a different story.. that's one exotic animal I haven't tried yet.

I'm with you on that one. I guess I could see darting it, the way you do with rhinos. But even that.....isn't it like shooting a cow?

I would have more respect for the 'hunter' if he had bull-dogged that Giraffe and calf-tied that bad boy!
To: Sax
I don't know if it will make you feel any better, but the giraffe was only allowed to be taken because it was over populated for the area and the large amount of funds for the license went to game conservation.

What's the point in killing a Giraffe? Some people prove their manhood by killing ferocious beasts. Next on his list is a goat in a petting zoo.

A virile deed to really grin about.
Don't let this Norseman anywhere near our Viking kitties.

The last time a giraffe jumped and landed on my grill I just ate it raw.
