So if anybody tells you there is no vast, right-wing conspiracy, tell them that New Hampshire has proven it in court.
Some good news from Iraq, which comes from a Kuwati source and probably will be absent from all American newspapers: the crackdown in Baghdad has resulted in a steep drop in the killing of American soldiers.
And once again I find myself apologizing for the senior Senator from Virginia who has said that he strongly disagrees with General Pace's remarks that homosexuality is immoral. Senator, have you forgotten the last election? A majority of Virginia voters would not agree with you--after all, we said "NO!" to "gay marriage".

Good morning, lysie. We are currently at 41 degrees and it has been raining for 7 hours. Flood warnings are up, and today (of course) is my grocery day. I am not going until the rain lets up somewhat, because right now it is pouring!
Since I looked out the bathroom window last night and this morn a significant amount of ice has melted in the pond.

I don't recall exactly what the official investigation attributed the crash to, but we all remember that there were a lot of theories going on about it being a terrorist attack. I doubt anyone will re-open that investigation unless they have some more specifics.
If it were my decision under those circumstances I'd re-open it, even if it looked bad initially. I'm tired of the quick denial that terror is involved actions. I think there are ways of keeping open the possibility without unnecessary panic.
