Appellants contest the district court’s dismissal of their complaint alleging that the District of Columbia’s gun control laws violate their Second Amendment rights. The court held that the Second Amendment (“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”) does not bestow any rights on individuals except, perhaps, when an individual serves in an organized militia such as today’s National Guard. We reverse.

Thus rules the United States Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit.

Stop calling it 'congress in session', call it 'Get Bush Session'. I am so sick of their hatred...I am so sick in seeing them send the message to Iraq for them to kill Americans as this will hasten the defeat. I am so sick and tired of those 'dumbbutts' inviting the enemy into the US to killed us...in other words, I am sick and tired of Dims.

Wonderful day today in south Mississippi, sun shinning, warm, no wind, invitation to do some yard work on the tractor, cut back some rose bushes (thanks CM) and plant my Easter Lilly's.

Sure enjoy my FRESH yard eggs, big ole brown eggs and just back from the farm store, going to start making a TURKEY pen, and raise a few more chickens with them....
They say that turkey eggs are good, never have tried one.

Off to do a little cleaning, very cleaning, of my shack in the back. All have a good day and, a safe one.

Earlier this week, San Francisco's United States notorious Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in the matter of Good News Employees Association v. Hicks that municipal employers can completely censor the terms "natural family," "marriage" and "family values" as hate speech.

How can this be happening in this country? I am very discouraged.

I'm back from the history exhibit..It was a WOW! Besides meeting the young man, I got to talk to his Mom, Aunt, and teacher. We all gushed over history...LOL! Well, I wish him well. He's a fine young person.
