My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Snow is just starting here.. I heard 4 to 8 inches.
It shouldn't last long... Well hopefully not.

This is what it would look like in the rural areas.
To: Soaring Feather
Me too. When I hit the lottery I intended to buy one.

Ah, they are wonderful, except there are, too many of them and are a pest now.
To: Soaring Feather
On Fire Island on Long Island, they passed a law that culling was prohibited. The deer managed to multiply rapidy and created a lot of property damage as well as being a nuisance to traffic.

Out here, if you're real short, in winter the DPW will give you an orange antenna to afix to your hat.

Most of the deep snow photos I've posted are actually from Newfoundland.

Birds know when a huge storm is coming. Seen it many times. That concerns me. I swear there have been record numbers at the feeders today. They stayed through sleet! That must've hurt.

Some many bleeding hearts around here feed them and post their land from hunters. Naturally, the herds grow larger all the time -nature would take care of the whole thing if left alone.
Deer are in the city, sometimes crashing into store windows, and are a real danger on the roads.
To: Lady Jag
Oh, well, Lady those birds are tough critters. Birds also know when an earth quake is going to happen. They leave the area.
Cats will act strange too. They feel the change in Barometric Pressure.
