Didn't Perper say there was no sign of an infection?? Are they just sucking it in to keep the story alive??
Last week was the first time I heard it mentioned when the dicussion of Perper inquiring about the alcohol swab.

Apparently on her buttock, as if it was the site of an injection. That's all I heard.
I believe that I heard it mentioned somewhere that she had an abscess on her bottom.

No, but if it were a bad enough abscess, it could explain the high fever and the need for the cipro.
I hadn't heard about the abscess either. However, addicts that shoot up sometimes get cellulitis. Really nasty stuff. My ex-bro-in-law would inject himself with cocaine. He developed cellulits at the injection site, didn't seek treatment and it became gangrene-like. He almost lost his arm.
