I watch a lot of these CourtTV shows...Forensic Files, Dominic Dunne, Primetime, 20/20, etc. It's amazing how many despicable people will kill or have a spouse killed and leave children behind. Just last week I watched a guy "hire" someone (undercover) to kill his wife while the children were in the house. It's sick.

Before the girl went to Germany after she grew up, she contacted the Embassy to make sure that she would have no trouble getting OUT of Germany. They told her the ropes in case anything flukey happened.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering...if it had to be a passport issue. Of course, after 9/11 everything has changed.
You're quite right. Dannie Lynn is an American Citizen born on foreign soil. Larry's attorney already knows what has to be done.
My older daughter has dual citizenship also. I had her in Heidelberg, Germany...both of us, mother and father, are American citizens.
We had to have passports to get back from the Virgin Islands.
ET just had a darling clip of Dannielynn by herself and a gross one of HKS feeding her bottle and kissing her on the forehead (feigned affection).

That's a little strange. You just get an American passport and visit. My daughter has had no problem visiting Gemany, even though her birthplace on it says Germany.
DL would have been able to travel on her mother's US passport. Since fatherhood is up in the air - Dannielyn is temporarily stranded in the Bahamas.
Virgie might be able to apply for a separate US passport for Dannielyn at the US consulate/embassy - she would have to have documentation as the legal guardian.

Bahamian Courts ordered DNA for Howard, Larry and Dannielynn to be scheduled by swab tomorrow. Results by the end of the week. Howard is planning an overnight appeal. Surprised?
The Bahamas has already said they cannot probate the will of a citizen of another country in The Bahamas.
Yes, I returned from Europe and had to do the same. I just didn't know, with DL being a baby, if the same holds true. Thought maybe, just maybe, there was some sort of waiver for children, say...under 2 years or something.
I'm sure Larry's team is on it.
