My hubby said the same thing that she and some others here have said. He may commit suicide if he tihnks he is oging to the hoosegow. Wish Beck hadn't interrupted her and had let her finish her thought.

Anna Nicole Smith Update - The companion of Anna Nicole Smith, Howard K. Stern, has recruited high-powered attorney L. Lin Wood to pursue libel and defamation claims on his behalf.
ET broke the news that Anna Nicole's partner is preparing to pursue new legal action against who have made false statements about him.
L. Lin Wood is a high-profile attorney who has made multiple TV appearances, including the "Today" show, "Dateline," "60 Minutes" "Larry King Live," "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and "Good Morning America."

You’re right. Regardless of the items billed, just when things began to perk in the Bahamas the bill is what makes the news. I would think Opri’s sense of timing is better than that.
The CTV reporter, don’t know his name, was reporting. From what he said, there seemed to have been a hearing this morning.

Each night on cable television a host of commentators line up to give their opinions on the case of Anna Nicole Smith. Much of the time, the TV talking heads turn their ire on Howard K Stern, the man that was the boyfriend and attorney of Anna Nicole on the day that she died. Now a report from Entertainment Tonight is citing Art Harris and the claim is that Stern is set to hire a powerhouse attorney to sue those parties for defamation.
According to Art Harris.com, Stern is recruiting one of the country’s most feared libel lawyers, L. Lin Wood of Atlanta, to take on a horde of attackers who continue to call him a killer in print and on talk shows, despite an autopsy report and exhaustive police investigation clearing him of any criminal charges in the death of Anna Nicole Smith.

Harris predicts that Texas lawyer John O’Quinn will likely be first up to be handed a summons. Harris writes: O’Quinn keeps blasting Stern as a “murderer,” and will likely be among those who would quickly fall in Wood’s crosshairs if the Mercer Law School (Nancy Grace alma mater) gunslinger takes the case, and decides to pull out his recipe for Texas Toast.
Harris adds that when Stern objected to the DNA release didn’t help his image, but that’s certainly not criminal. What his lawyers don’t understand is why his side of the story isn’t getting out. His lawyers hope that will change if Wood comes on board. ET notes that Wood’s other clients have included John and Patsy Ramsey.
