The Chicago Tribune said the new Third Pounder is currently available only in about 600 restaurant locations in Southern California.

Um, you can already buy a Double Quarter Pounder at every McDonald's in the United States.

1/4 + 1/4 = 1/2 (pound), which is a bit more than the 1/3 pound that everyone is getting all excited about.

Don't know why all the fuss.

I miss the good old days when it really did take two hands to handle a Whopper. Burger King gave away their most distinctive product when they turned the Whopper into just another quarter-pounder.

I still demand that they bring back the super size option.

I find one burger isn't filling enough. I know once Michael Jacobson and the CSPI Food Police get wind of this, they will demand McDonald's keep it off the restaurant menu.

That's because Burger King is still blowing them away in sales. When BK upped the fat and the size, to double super king size, in spite of what the food Nazis said or did.

When Mc Donald's caved to the PC Left, and banned fat, "Trans-fat" and served salads granola and cardboard sandwiches, they lost many customers. Maybe they'll learn.

But I doubt it.

Hmm, 1/3 lb for 3.99, or two double cheeseburgers for 99 cents each. Decisions, decisions.
