As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
Dateline, Denver...
A jury has found Scooter Libby guilty on four counts. (EN--Some folks were wound up about this yesterday. Let's remember the folks who passed judgment--the jury--are probably 12 politically ill-informed folks, those are the sort of people both prosecuting and defending attornies like on juries. In other words, the outcome is unfortunate, not politically motivated. That said, is the left going to make hay of this--you bet!) The defense says they will appeal.
Meanwhile, in Congress, the global warming hearing that was scheduled to have taken place in February that had to be postponed because of an ice storm is on the docket to occur today. Forecast for Washington--snow(!!). In fact, the cold temperatures and the precipitation type are extraordinarily unusual for nearly one-third of the way into March.
Massachusetts has had its coldest day since 1950.
And while we're on global warming--PETA has latched onto a UN report that says producing livestock for meat consumption causes more global warming than all of industry combined. PETA has told Algore he has to stop eating meat or he is not a true environmental wacko.
But the real eko-wacko material is out of Canada this morning. We are now being told we have to be environmentally conscious about how we carry on with love-making. Better idea--why don't they just not do it at all, then eventually the idiocy will die out of the gene pool (there's a Darwin Award in there somehwere...).
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Good morning.
I've noticed the global warming nuts respond to the coldest winter in years by saying that's because of global warming. They say the same thing when it's the mildest winter in years.
They've got it covered.
Lots of errands today and a Honey Do List for my husband I need to write up. He has spent too many days mesmerized by his new television and I've been patient until today :-)
Why no conflict of interest?
Because they were not going to let Libby get away the most heinous crime known to the left...living and breathing while serving in a Republican Administration.
To the loopy, loony left, that is a crime worse than any other in existence.
Was told to get the weight off by the doc, D agreeded, otherwise, I am in trouble for sure,,,,,,,,I see that whe got me lots of apples, grapefruit, what have you.....BUT, I am off back here in my shack in the back and she can't see what I am doing...
Jemian, yes, grape hyacinth...a sure harbinger of spring around here...
Peach, the global warming alarmists aren't grounded in reality or facts, so yes, anything goes with their arguments. Works pretty well for them and those they're scaring and indoctrinating.
And the same explanation works for the Libby fiasco...the Law wasn't used here as a standard, so innuendos and lies abound.
GREAT links, Molly! Thanks so much for finding them for us each day. When I'm in a hurry, as is usually the case before I run off to work or errands, I know I can find the "good stuff" from you.
Thanks so much for the start, Mr. Chair! Did you like Denver?
Re: Denis Collins/Libby trial: I have read...
1. that Collins, WP reporter juror and Russert neighbor, was on LKL last night....hints of book on trial ($$$)
2. that a publisher has already announced another forthcoming book on the trial ($$$)
3. that O'Reilly revealed his complete ignorance of facts in the Libby case.
4. that Libby's attorney costs...so far...are estimated at $2,000,000.
5. that Fitzgerald throughout the trial called Plame "covert" and/or "classified"
6. that Fitzgerald talked as much about Rove, Cheney, and the Iraqi war as he did Mr. Libby's "crime".
7. that 3 hours before the verdict the jurors' note to the Judge asked, "What is the charge?"
There's much more...Russert's "memory", for instance, but the jurors believed him rather than Libby. Sandy Berger walks free and has never taken the court-ordered lie detector test. Who is the real criminal? Burger or Libby?
"Stop the world; I want to get off" keeps running through my head.
The Bunnie Huggers are just jealous of us!
The Bunnie Huggers are just jealous of us!
Opps!
Sorry for the hiccup. Our server is slow to respond this morning.

Well worth saying it twice! Good morning!
You know, I seldom agree with PETA (okay, okay, never), but in this instance they really do have something. When you realize the energy spent, resources used, and emission of greenhouse gases associated with meat production EXCEED the total emissions of ALL the world's cars and trucks, combined, you realize you can make a difference and still drive a safe car instead of a tuna can. It means that each of us can thumb our noses at Kyoto by just consuming less (or no) meat.
I used to ask people if they would rather give up showers for a month or one pound of hamburger a month (1000 gallons of water or more); they usually came around to my way of thinking, LOL!
It's time Algore put his enormous buttprint where his mouth is. (That didn't make sense, but I enjoyed saying it, ha!)
To those (Dems) claiming that the Libby trial was NOT political, I shout. "HOGWASH".
Bad luck about not winning the lottery...I didn't either. LOL
I enjoyed reading it! lOL
I think a prerequisite is that you have to buy a ticket, LOL!
(Putting on liberal hat now: "Everybody should be entitled as a matter of RIGHT to a chance in the lottery whether or not they had the money to buy a ticket. It's only FAIR that we don't discriminate against non-ticket buyers just because the fat-cat ticket buyers had money to spend on tickets. Waaaaah!" End liberal whine now.)
Good morning. Glenn Beck is talkingabout this subject now.
You're on a roll.....Got the tenor of the times down perfectly. LOL
Toby, I have some Iris bulbs that I will send to you as soon as the snow melts.
