John Travolta believes Anna Nicole Smith could have escaped her untimely death with the help of Scientology.
The Pulp Fiction star, who acted with Smith in 2005 movie Be Cool, insists Narconon, a controversial drug and detox treatment inspired by the writings of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, would have helped her cope with her problems.
He says, "It's so sad. We could have helped her with Narconon but didn't get a chance to. I wish we had."
Although Smith's toxicology report is yet to be released, methadone and other prescription drugs were found in the Florida hotel room where she died earlier this month.

Glad to see he is now trying to pull a Tom Cruise.

As I understand it Narcanon is very good, very expensive, and very much a matter of mind control.

Not everyone who gets involved with Narcanon gets involved with scientology. That's for the very rich.

Travolta gets a pass from me on this. He and his wife have done some great things for the troops, and he's right: she did need help from somewhere, even Narconon.

"Narconon .... very much a matter of mind control. "
Mind control is by definition possible only on those who have minds to begin with, for otherwise what is there to control, besides pavlovian reflexes? As for the animal training techniques, these have been known for millenia.

    Hey...I believe him!
Tom Cruise is no different in expressing the love of his faith than a ton of Freepers do in here each and every day.
Whatever floats your boat.
He thinks the structure and support would have turned her around. Perhaps.
What's gained by painting him a kook of sorts?

What is gained? - a closer approach to truth, which is, per Socrates, a good in itself, that's what's gained. Beyond this, not much.

that reminds me of John Edwards saying the crippled could get up out of that wheelchair and walk again, back in October of 2004.

I really doubt she wanted to be helped.I think she had problems from childhood that she couldn't come to terms with after seeing that tape she made to her mother. Sometimes people just don't want the help. They know just what they are doing and are hellbent on doing it. You can try all you want but until that person decides that they have a problem nothing works. I had a brother like that. We tried every which way to help him for the last 20 years. Finally he pushed everyone away and disappeared. Didn't find out he was dead until 5 months after he died and I had to find it on the internet. Prayers for ANS and her children.

Ana was a wreck waiting to happen. Unfortunate for her her children, and others.

Greed is a weird thing as well.

Smith really kept the fires of hatred towards her mother burning. Enough already, there are few people who have a perfect childhood. Even if her childhood was far from perfect, there are thousands more who had it worse

Very true.....So many do have it much worse. I do feel that everyone is trying to cash in on ANS's death. To me thats really sad. I wish a loving sane family will/can be found for this little innocent child. However from what I've seen from Vergie ( ANS's mother) & her lawyer I am not impressed at all. Until theres a warrant for Howard K Stern for anyone's death I don't think either of them should be accusing him of murder. It serves no purpose ...I wonder if this child had no money who would be claiming her?... Since ANS had such a deep hate for her mother & mentioned rapes & her mother's many marriages who knows what really happened in her childhood. Except ANS & she is dead... Anyone who saw the ANS show knew she was on drugs & in my eyes she died because she was a drug addict. If you want to change your lifestyle you do and it sure doesn't look to me like ANS had the will or the wish to change. Very sad.
