As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who do her harm!!
Stocks took a beating yesterday on the New York Stock Exchange, but appear set to open higher this morning.
Algore, Mr. Environmentally Conscience, has an electric bill exceeding $1,200 per month for a home that is 10,000 square feet. Have to wonder what's going on there--even during the height of cooling season, the electric bill for The Cottage was never anywhere near that--the average being around $400 per month ($700 during summer). The Cottage was larger than Algore's home.
Speaking of the environment, leave it to the UN. A panel of "scientists" (one has to wonder whether they really are with what follows) insists the UN set a mandatory ceiling for temperature rise due to global warming (what happens if, regardless of whether there is man-made or natural temperature increases occurring, nature doesn't cooperate?). These same folks are also calling upon the UN to set up a global tax structure to combat the "problem".
Intelligence reports, as reported by AFP, are indicating North Korea is now capable of building a missile that can reach the continental United States.
A man in China died after staying online during the entire seven-day celebration of Lunar New Year.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
LET'S ROLL!!!
Good morning from the Communist coast.
Good Morning from the Socialist coast!
Whew, there you are...GOOD A.M. CHAIR, ALL FROM TEH VERY WARM MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, BRUISED BUT NOT COMPLETELY BROKEN...
gOOD MORNING FROM THE 'LOVERS' COAST!!!!
Getting into the swing of things, here's my Good Morning! from the middle of NC, the state once characterized as "the valley between 2 mountains of conceit" (SC and Va.).
Good morning, nice to see you.
Nice seeing you, too, OldFriend. What is your weather? It's sunny here today and tomorrow, but tomorrow night we're slated to get a ton of rain.
Good morning from the rapidly changing red (freedom loving, military loving and Constitution abiding)-to-blue (socialist, military loathing, unpatriotic-wanting us to lose the war in Iraq) state of Colorado :((
Hi 2/3... just a quick drive by.. at doc's with uncle & I found a friendly person in office letting me use computer for a few minutes....
Well Colorado is a taste of heaven.. the rest is I guess, you know what!
Opps.. here he comes - ready to leave.
Later all..
Welcome! We love to have new people join us. The only rule is that when we disagree we are not disagreeable. Also, this is a family-friendly thread.
If you feel so inclined, let us know a little bit about yourself.
Have you seen the movie "The Queen"?
Beautiful here today. Sunny and clear, but bad weather on the way. Rain if we're lucky and not snow. We're at 1100ft. elevation so it might be icy. drat!
The Queen ..is an excellent movie, and Helen Mirren deserved her Oscar!
Thoroughly enjoyed this movie!
The computer - yeah! My cat had leaned on the monitor, loosening some wire which my very-patient husband fixed before leaving late for work...he's there this p.m. and tonite.
Now the plumber is expected...please come, Mr. Plumber!
Afternoon all...
How's your spot on your leg? All healed, I hope.
Good afternoon.
Need I say?
