I see that there's never a dull moment at your house! We had a black cat that adopted us, and the kids named it Tyrone. Funny thing though....after becoming a member of our family, our Tyrone had a little family of her own, a litter of little look-alikes. LOL

Continuing the Tyrone saga: Tyrone turned out to be the feline version of a "fast woman"....litter-aly (pun) a kitty machine. We were desperate to place all her babies w/adoptive parents. LOL

When 2 of her grown daughters also had litters of their own at the SAME TIME that mama Tyrone was producing still another batch, one day grandmother Tyrone turned into a feminist!

She divided up her latest litter between the daughters, who had their own nursing children, and took off for parts unknown...either to begin "dating" again or simply tired of motherhood....that baby thang. LOL

What's going on with your weather, Lysie?

We set a record for snowfall in one weekend. (20") The storm over the weekend has to be one of the biggest in years.

We are under a winterstorm watch again, as we have another one barreling down on us. This cound bring an additional foot of snow. Looks like March is going to come in like a lion.

BAGRAM, Afghanistan — A homicide bomber killed and wounded two dozen people outside the main U.S. military base in Afghanistan on Tuesday during a visit by U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney. The Taliban claimed responsibility and said Cheney was the target.

The blast happened outside the base at Bagram, north of the capital Kabul. Cheney's spokeswoman said he was fine, and the U.S. Embassy said the vice president later met with President Hamid Karzai in Kabul.
