Barack Hussein Obama: Being There
Various news media | 2/23/07 | Uncle peter

ANYONE SUPPORTING SENATOR BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT IS RACIST!

Pardon me for being the skunk at your garden party, but am I the only one this planet who feels that the only reason that anyone who supports Barack Hussein Obama is because the Freshman Senator is black? Certainly it is not based on any actual accomplishment of his 700 odd days in the Senate. He has not authored, let alone shepparded to passage, one single bill. Zero accomplishments. Therefore, it is racist to judge a person based on his race or ethnicity, be it pro or con.

This man's campaign strategy is: "Vote For Me Because I'm Black. If You Don't, You're A Racist"

The movie "Being There" starring Peter Sellers was about a well groomed simpleton gardener. He lived on the estate of his recently-deceased Millionaire employer whose The Last Will And Testament was in probate.

He would stay on for years until it was resolved but was somehow mistaken as the new owner of the Estate.

He spoke in generalities, disjointedly, but never quite said anything in particular. He was taken for a Genius by everyone around him. He'd say something such as: "Every garden needs a gardener." and everyone would fawn about how deep, wise and prescient he was.

He managed to climb the social ladder to a prominent government position before he was "found out" to be an imbecile and was removed from office.

He never understood what he lost, but those around him were shattered: not at his crashing failure, but at their own vulnerablity and Naivite.

Life Imitates Art.

Not exactly. Chauncey never took a government position in the movie, and was never found out. The movie ends with Rand's advisors merely discussing his candidacy for president during Rand's funeral, during which Chauncey is seen walking across a small lake, poking his umbrella into it.

Great movie, one of the all-time greats.

If you support the white half, you are a racist against the black.

If you support the black half, you are a racist because it is only because he is black as he has no other attributes.

Therefore two halves would make you a whole racist. (I think??)

According to the Wikipedia article on Obama:

"Obama sponsored 152 bills and resolutions brought before the 109th Congress in 2005 and 2006, and cosponsored another 427."

Obama is hardly a moron. He is a reasonably intelligent leftist person who has a very high opinion of himself. I'm sure Obama sees himself as some sort of "savior". That he has no real qualifications or plans is beside the point to him and his awestruck followers. Some pols just believe in themselves. They think they're leaders. In reality Obama is just another pied piper of witless socialism. Natually all the little leftist children want to follow him. Into the morass.

He was in Austin for a rally yesterday. The original count was 25,000 in attendance. By the 6 PM news, that had dropped to 20,000.

This morning, the news reported 15,000, so I figure there may have been 10,000.

"~ to be deprogrammed of the constant, unabated brainwashing they're being assaulted on a daily basis by the MSM and our enemies."

The brainwashing machine starts with a "light rinse" early in the public schools and then goes into "heavy soaking" at the university level. Hollywood provides the super wash cycle and then its onto permanent press by the MSM (pun intended).

"He was educated in the top universities in the country (Occidental, Columbia, Harvard)"

More and more its becoming a case of educated/indoctrinated. Sadly, our universities seem to be doing both.

"Now, now, just because Shoebomba hasn't done anything doesn't disqualify him from being president. The Dems, recall, nominated AND elected both JFK and Jimmy Carter with records of having done nothing in their lives to merit being President, and they can do it again."

John Kerry is another case in point. No accomplishments or signature legislation during his tenure in the Senate. Nada.

Sponsor and co-sponsor mean little. More than one person can sponsor a bill; co-sponsoring is simply tacking your name onto the bill. Even Chaunsey Gardener could do that.

"-He was raised by his white mother.
-He lived in suburbia.
-He was never in a gang and knew little of inner city life.
-He was educated in the top universities in the country (Occidental, Columbia, Harvard)"

I don't think the country is ready for another 'slick.'

I think he seeks the VP slot. He can't lose. He gets national exposure and picks up political chips during the campaign. He's not up for re-election in the Senate so even if the ticket goes down to defeat, as you say, he can run in 2012 or better yet in 2016. He'll only be 55 in 2016.

You've made a thoughtful observation, but I remember Chauncey Gardener as a functioning Imbecile: Smarter than an Idiot, but not quite as bright as a Moron.

Oh, let's do refer to The Senator as Chauncey Obama, shall we not?

Let's do the Math: 152 Bills Sponsored + 427 Co-sponsors= 679 legal instruments divided by 700 days in office...roughly one a day, every day, weekends included since he's been in office??

Now that's one busy MoFo
