ANYONE SUPPORTING SENATOR BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT IS RACIST!
Pardon me for being the skunk at your garden party, but am I the only one this planet who feels that the only reason that anyone who supports Barack Hussein Obama is because the Freshman Senator is black? Certainly it is not based on any actual accomplishment of his 700 odd days in the Senate. He has not authored, let alone shepparded to passage, one single bill. Zero accomplishments. Therefore, it is racist to judge a person based on his race or ethnicity, be it pro or con.
This man's campaign strategy is: "Vote For Me Because I'm Black. If You Don't, You're A Racist"
The movie "Being There" starring Peter Sellers was about a well groomed simpleton gardener. He lived on the estate of his recently-deceased Millionaire employer whose The Last Will And Testament was in probate.
He would stay on for years until it was resolved but was somehow mistaken as the new owner of the Estate.
He spoke in generalities, disjointedly, but never quite said anything in particular. He was taken for a Genius by everyone around him. He'd say something such as: "Every garden needs a gardener." and everyone would fawn about how deep, wise and prescient he was.
He managed to climb the social ladder to a prominent government position before he was "found out" to be an imbecile and was removed from office.
He never understood what he lost, but those around him were shattered: not at his crashing failure, but at their own vulnerablity and Naivite.
Life Imitates Art.
Either he is a "plant" (stalking horse, so to speak) by the Clintons, or one of their worst nightmares.
If he is for real and ready to kick butt, this is going to be a real "popcorn fest" to watch unfold.
Well he will never fill that suit anyway! Still , BO is The Empty Suit Candidate and not one media pundit has ever asked him his policies. Forget his race, lack of experience. What the heck does this guy think and will enact on welfare, education, Court choices, the military, the ongoing war against Islamofascism, SS and Medicare salvation, and Tax cuts and or tax simplification??? Not one question and the media goes ga ga over a nice character who says, let's be nice and let's be new. New about what??
It has everything to with a senator who looks in the mirror and sees a President.
Like they all do, it is written in history.
Change Obama to Hillary and racist to sexist and you have a whole 'nother thread.
I don't think it is racism. He is 2008's John Edwards, a one-term Senator with no record of accomplishments on Capitol Hill. He is young and attractive. He is really running for the VP slot which will be handed to him if he continues to run a strong second in the early primaries.
Mark my word, it will be a Clinton-Obama ticket.
The only difference is that "Chauncey Gardner" had an innate intelligence, an understanding of what works, what's right and wrong. Obama is at best a smiling Charlie McCarthy parroting the same stupid liberal positions with better teeth.
The guy is a socialist with a background that should make anyone worry about how committed he would be in the WOT.
But it's not hard to see his talents- he's very smart and articulate- certainly more so than any of the other Democratic candidates. This isn't his election, but he may be hard to beat in 2012 if he can convince enough Americans that he's not a closet Muslim.
you forgot to say "clean"
I only half support him.
white Americans who would vote for this ideoloque need:
~ to put an end to their collective guilt regarding blacks.
~ to stop letting fear control their lives (or being PC, to use a euphemism).
~ to be deprogrammed of the constant, unabated brainwashing they're being assaulted on a daily basis by the MSM and our enemies.
1) He can speak in public.
2) He's young and handsome.
3) He's black.
I mean, what more do we want or need in a President, anyway? Who cares about crap like accomplishments, leadership, knowledge or experience? Who really cares how he might run the country, whether he has integrity, what policies he might institute, or what laws he might push?
He looks nice, talks alluringly, and is black. Perfect Presidential material.
He should change his name to "BLACK Obama" - that way it would be obvious to people that he's actually black.
On all other counts, Black Obama is not really black...
OK he's 50% black, but culturally he's as white as the creme inside an Oreo cookie:
-He was raised by his white mother.
-He lived in suburbia.
-He was never in a gang and knew little of inner city life.
-He was educated in the top universities in the country (Occidental, Columbia, Harvard)
-Of his early childhood, Obama wrote: "That my father looked nothing like the people around me that he was black as pitch, my mother white as milk barely registered in my mind."
Finally, one has to agree that there is something racist and dishonest in light of his running in the media spotlight as "THE Black Candidate."
He's opportunistically taking advantage of his 50% black genes because it is to his ADVANTAGE. There's something inherently racist about that. Kind of like checking the "I'm BLACK" box on the affirmative action racial preference application for admission to a university, just so you can get admitted, when someone has just as many white genes (50%) as black genes.
If he were honest, he would say, "I'm not really black and I'm not really white. My genes are truly split down the middle (50/50) and, in fact, because culturally I have little in common with American Blacks, I am electing to run as a white person for the President of the United States and will discourage any media attempts to get mileage out of my apparent blackness.
Hence, I vote we refer to him as "Black Obama" for those who really can't tell what race he is.
Now, now, just because Shoebomba hasn't done anything doesn't disqualify him from being president. The Dems, recall, nominated AND elected both JFK and Jimmy Carter with records of having done nothing in their lives to merit being President, and they can do it again. They are the party of emotion, not intellect, and if they FEEL like electing a black guy, by golly, it's gonna happen.
That cat's a storybook, man!
The blackness helps draw interest, but he is also very articulate, charismatic and personable. In addition, he manages to project an "American dream" component, with a dash of "regular guy." All in all, an excellent combination for voters who were taken in by Bill Clinton.
He's not just a flash in the pan. He could go all the way, or wind up on the bottom half of the ticket.
BTW, the movie version of "Being There" ends with the Peter Sellers character being groomed for the presidency. I'm not sure if it is faithful to the novel by Jerzy Kosinski or not.
