Gods, Graves, Glyphs (alpha order)
From the title, I really thought this might be about BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome)! LOL!
What's up with the last line of the article. And notice how proud she is of the female chimps.
Interesting article, but the author is a Kook.
My fault, it was the researcher.
Stabbing bush babies? Bah!
When chimps can order pizza, then I'll be impressed.
Umm- animals, which, after all, monkeys are, are not held responsible morally for their actions.
Humans, on the other hand, knowingly choose their behavior, and therefore are presumed to be responsible for that behavior.
This is something that has to be studied??
Several backgrounders..

I hold dogs responsible for their behaviour, otherwise they take a dump on the carpet.
This is a much less awful use of tools than chimps previously demonstrated. The other tool use observed in chimps is using sticks to beat female chimps.
It's the food chain; get used to it. Mother nature is a mean momma!
Chimps skewering cute little Bushbabies? What would PETA say?
Time to call PETA!!
Weird. Nothing showed up in the searches I made. Anyway, thanks!
There's something about killing & eating cute critters that makes ya want to think there's something wrong with it. Meanwhile, I'm thinking eating raw primate... the possibilty of picking up a disease makes it a pretty risky behaviour. Is this being done by only one population or is it something more universal?
But you wouldn't put them in jail for killing a squirrel.
True, but I don't want to put people in jail as some kind of moral lesson either. I want to put them in jail to keep them away from me because they are dangerous.
