It'll be nice to see both browsers get new versions. Safari is more in need of updating than Firefox, but still.

Apple Safari and Apple OS X both show Net Applications gains January 2007 over December 2006... PING!
If you want on or off the Mac Ping List, Freepmail me.

I'd love to, but I'm still stuck on my approaching-three-years-old Inspiron 6000.
Had to head down to CompUSA today, and I managed to spend a few minutes messing with their Mac displays. I was set on saving up for a MacBook, but I think I've got no choice but to aim for the MacBook Pro. That thing is really something.

We have no idea what's causing your duplicate post problem, sorry There are currently 236 Freepers on the list. I have no problems with any other postings.... just the Ping list. It only happens when I am posting the list. Is there perhaps a limit in FreeRepublic on the number of addressees?

Need the money first. Right now, funds are low enough that I've had to leave school to get a job, and my car is going to need a couple of thousand bucks invested into it before summer. I can't justify getting a new computer now, and probably won't for another 12-18 months.

To get into specifics of your problem you need to communicate with John Robinson. He designed and maintains the software. The mods have no special knowledge of it.

The biggest advantages of Firefox were the tabbed browsing features and the built in search bar. When MS started losing market share to Firefox, they updated, but MS never innovates. Once they had vanquished Netscape they didn't do any significant upgrades to Explorer.
Windows upgraded Explorer to be similar to Firefox, so there was less advantage to switching. I didn't install the new IE, because Windows won't let you install IE without installing Windows Genuine Advantage.

I'm new to the MacBook Pro and was wondering if there was a way that I could "shortcut some command prompts for HTML code" like hitting CNTRL and another key and it would type out < img src="...etc.."> or some other premade typed command? thanks for your help..
