A skeptical person might be ratiocynical about just how many synonyms are possible for a single word .... 8<)

Being of ratiocinative mind is of no use when trying to understand the thought process of the left-leaned.

There is absolutely nothign
ratiocinative about the argument of these "immigrants' rights activists" pushing for the right of non-citizens to vote in municipal elections in New York.
From the article:
"More than 50,000 adult noncitizen taxpayers in those two districts are disenfranchised by citizenship voting laws," said Cheryl Wertz, of New Immigrant Community Empowerment, referring to today's special election for council seats in Brooklyn and Staten Island.
It is very simple -- you can't be "disenfranchised" if you were never "enfranchised" in the first place. If you aren't a citizen, you aren't "enfranchised". If you want to vote in our elections, then go through the requirements to become a citizen. If you aren't willing to do that, then shut the hell up or go the hell back to whatever country where you want your citizenship to remain.

Happy Birthday to you, Vastie! Besides also being Pancake Day, today is celebrated as Paczki Day* in some quarters, so everyone go grab some donuts and enjoy!

Me, too. And I have a girl friend from grade and high school coming to visit and can't get anything done. She's here a lot, so I'll call her.

We should make an "old folks" day. Anyone that's signed up before 1999 would make them an old folk, I would think.
What do you think?
