"I'll give Apple credit for what it's done," Ballmer said. It's not like they've really grown a lot of market share (through the commercials).
Apple's computer sales are growing five times greater than the industry average...

Ballmer claims Apple is a little tiny niche company and the Get-a-Mac ads cute... PING!
If you want on or off the Mac Ping List, Freepmail me.

As underwhelmed as I've been by the narrow gulf between Windows 95
and Windows XP Professional...
I will likely delay an upgrade to Windows Vista as long as possible.
And maybe even skip a generation.

Seeing you on an Apple thread is about as pleasant as seeing a pile of dog poo in the middle of the street.

Seeing you on an Apple thread is about as pleasant as seeing a pile of dog poo in the middle of the street. How the hell is this an Apple thread?

Microsoft CEO: Vista sales expectations too high Not, one word about Apple or Mac...
To: Echo Talon
Ouch careful, I am sure somewhere there is a M$ conspiracy there.
According to the latest Apple commercial I will soon be asked if its ok to post this, not by Freerepublic but by Vista.

Ballmer also responded to a question about a series of commercials Why these "media outlets" continue to give Apple "free" advertising should be investigated... IMHO...

Did Ballmer throw a chair at the interviewer when they asked him that question?

Micro$oft speak for "Our product sucks, its loaded with DRM, slows down your machine, and we control what you do from now on. But because we are virtually a monopoly, tough luck, suck it!"
