Hi sorry I bailed out earlier but was a heck of evening with dad being taken ill thankfully now sorted - he is of course very tired today.

True friendship certainly is how sad that many find that we have too little "real" friends.

Something that a friend said to me once stuck with me and I think is good advice.

The test is not can I live with this person but can I live without this person - not in a clinging dependant way but in a positive sharing all life's trials and tribulations.

I think you right Kate but we also have to be prepared to act if the opportunity arises and not run away because of fear or past failures part of it is up to us to recognize it when it comes.

At present I cannot even think of it because of responsibilities with dad etc somehow that gives me peace and contentment but is it also an excuse - only time and my conscious can really answer that.

That is the Peugeot 206 but both were sort of cult vehicles in the UK and are still sort after especially if in a good condition.

The Golf I believe is still in production and is loved in Britain.

I think you have your priorities right and eventually hopefully the right person will come along to share your life but as you say one has to learn to be content and happy if that does not happen and not to be defined by whom we are with but to be secure in ourselves first.
