Senate Bill 46 would include Colorado in a compact of other states that pledge to cast all their electoral votes for whichever presidential candidate gets the most popular votes, nationally, regardless of who gets the most votes in our state. So you are gonna base your state's vote on nationwide elections which you have no control over. If the vote is close, how do you do get other states to do a recount? This bill would make it impossible for someone to contest the results. Very dumb idea, but what do you expect.

If they're so worried about it, they can proportion their electoral votes in the same way that Nebraska and Maine do.
