Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
"Has anyone on DU claimed that Bush had her killed to distract from the Libby file?"
That's no doubt coming on the 5 p.m. news
Her friends were intereviewed on E a couple of weeks ago and said they feared for her because of the influence of Stern in her life... that he was very controlling of her and had cut most people out of her life.
"Remember when Orlando, FL was all about Disney wholesomeness?"
That was back when there were 10,000 $25/night rooms in Kissimmee.
You just pretty much summed up Howard Stern's worst nightmare: To be mistaken for Howard K. Stern.

Correct! The subsequent legal proceedings have been mere haggling over the price.
I think she was a very unhappy woman, and I can't imagine that being the butt of so many tasteless jokes did anything for her self-esteem. Just because she had a good body doesn't make her happy. This jerk lawyer comes along, and I really believe she thought he loved her. She seemed desperate for someone to love her.
Now her baby has no mother and not such a great choice between fathers. Of all the people involved, she is the most innocent. I hope she gets all of everyone else's money (the billionaire, the lawyer, the photographer) when she gets older. She will certainly deserve it for what she is likely to be put through in the future.

Marilyn Monroe wannabe. It is tragic, but you really want to be aware of how you live your life. The train wreck is now complete.
I was just watching what's his name, the US News & World guy, trying to vamp it on Cavuto's show..........LOL........
I think it is sad. No matter what, a baby is left without a mother to raise her and will forever have this story to live with, her brother died of drugs and now the mom, (so it seems).
Lifestyles of those who decide to give drugs a try, and then they get hooked!
I made a joke on the other thread about her being found unconscious... guess I can't retract it.
Sad. Sometimes I think there are some people who just shouldn't have been born beautiful, they can't handle it. It takes some poise and smarts...
And you can bet most of her life was full of folks who just wanted in one way or another to take advantage of her. Who do you trust when everyone around you is like that? How do you get close to anyone and find true human connections?
Who knows? If she had been born plain, maybe there was another Louis Pasteur inside of her.
RIP, Miss Smith. At least you were, in a sad sort of way, entertaining.
Hopefully you had some moments that shined forever in your memories.
