Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
I imagine that there would be tons of frantic people and little crowd control.
I thought of that after I hit post, too. It had to be pure chaos in the room with people coming and going, so it would be very easy for someone to kind of fade into the background.
I'm sure a publicist for him will issue a statement that he is in terrible mourning and to please respect his privacy during this difficult time...
I am sure the police know where he is, unofficially of course.
Had she had some work done lately?
/just asking :)
Regarding Hef, I always thought that he sincerely believes that what he's doing is right, and he's never seemed to be a jackass like Flint. And, as you say, the women he deals with all seem to like him. In all these years, I've never heard one story claiming he was abusive, mean, etc.
Sounds to me like HKS's biggest hurdle will be proving his marriage to ANS is legal. I read on TMZ that under Bahamian law he is the legal guardian.
It was mentioned on Imus this morning that she had had her lips done, but I don't recall if they mentioned when that happened.
I just heard that this Howard Stern was also around when Howard Marshalls (the 80 yr old millionaire) son died!! I still think he is responsible.
I heard that also. Wasn't it Trump saying that, and he was talking about his observation of her last TV appearance......last week?
They don't change cohosts on Friday do they?Whatever she said, I believe they taped the second show yesterday and then canned it.She usually stays on a riff for more than one day so she probably said some more "Rosie" stuff.
I have no clue. I've never seen this show before.
JOSH!
And it was a total fluke that I knew to tell you that! He was just on and sang 'You Lift Me Up' - great!

I switched over to it and there was a disclaimer running across the bottom saying "Pre-Recorded."
Bahama Lawyer Deletes Anna Nicole from Client List
Anna Nicole Smith's lead attorney down in the Bahamas (not Howard K. Stern -- who knew there were more?), Michael Scott, quit Wednesday. Maybe even those close to Anna Nicole are uncomfortable with her decision to marry (in a non-legally binding comittment ceremony) primary lawyer/lap dog, Howard K. Stern, less than three weeks after the death of her 20-year-old son, Daniel? Mourning period and honeymoon at once, awkward for everyone.
USA Today reports that Scott left feeling "unsettled" and cited his reason for leaving as "a disagreement on a commercial transaction made it difficult for us to remain as counsel."
Who knows what exactly made Scott feel dirty enough to leave, but he wasn't shy about commenting on the nature of his exit, saying, "It was not really an amicable parting."
Well, it does show some restraint that he didn't come off with something like "after watching Howard Stern sleaze his way onto Anna Nicole's heavily medicated ring finger, I may never feel ethical again."
Oh, ha ha - I just wrote that and then scrolled back to where I left off - which is your post saying the same thing! *c'est la vie*
yes
Very likely untrue, since Stern was glued to Smith's side and Marshall died in Houston.
