Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
And in this case, that's a bad thing because...?
This is the best chance this child has got to have a normal life, and not wind up committing suicide like her half brother. The amount of gushing over this on the tube today is completely nauseating.

Amen. May she find peace and tranquility. And may the good Lord protect her baby girl. I feel sad for this poor woman and even sadder for her daughter.

wow. 1000+ post. I'm surprised FR core would take such an interest. Not sure what to make of it yet, although I've always been facinated that "news" organizations of all stripes include celebrity gossip as part of the "formula".

I think it's horrific!!! And he should be disbarred whereever he is a lawyer. He married his client in an intense state of grief (just lost her son) and that is crossing the line. And it's not like they have had an ongoing relationship, she was with Larry Birkhead by everyone's account. He got with her at a very bad spot in her life and now he is her 'heir'. He should be investigated fully!!!

Ent Tonight just had a preview of Anna Nicole's "last interview" with them, from a couple of days ago.
What was strange was that they were showing her hairdresser getting her ready ("brushing the knots out of her long hair") and she was barely conscious, eyes mostly closed. OK, so maybe it was early in the morning.
She had a magazine in her hands and was sort of pretending to look at it while her hair was being brushed, and Howard K Stern was standing there, TURNING THE PAGES for her!
Really? Of the a-hole posters, which one turned around and declared themselves a Christian after metaphorically dancing on her grave? People who make sweeping generalizations about Christians make me sick.
Oh lord! He's such scum. So she was sick but he set up an interview?? I hope he's happy. :(
I'm reading over on court tv message boards that Anna may have had a deep dark secret. Any speculations?
