The dog was released? When I grew up, once you had a biter, you destroyed the dog.

It had just been running at large when it was released. The attack came later.

It was released to its owner after an incident of being found running at large.

It was not released after a biting incident.

Living up to your nic? The guy killed the dog during the attack. No need to destroy it unless you mean burn the carcass or something.

The article states that the dog was caught for "for running at large," not because of a biting.
