I have just stopped watching the latest downloaded 24 episode, a program that I've loved for years. What a load of bull!
The villain is a conservative hardliner and his toadie in the White House. Meanwhile the heroines are a very sexy Muslim, an ardent civil rights attorney, and a Hillary look/act alike.
YET . . . Rush KNEW this after the first airing and still advised his audience to keep watching because he really couldn't see anyliberal/politically correct shift. He says he is totally oblivious to viewing politically types/slants while watching 24????
After that first 24 this season, I couldn't understand the brouhaha of his conservative audience.
No wonder he was wined and dined by the producers -- he's a good firewall to insulate the show from conservative complaints.
I'm betting the beautiful Muslim Republican in CTU aids and abets in hour eight. Now that's entertainment.
Then why bother us by posting your vain nonsense? First of all, the "sexy muslim" may not be a muslim. She is merely identified as being of Middle Eastern descent. She could be a Christian for all you know. The toadie may or may not be conservative, that's not verified. I'm happy that you're no longer watching the show, I can't imagine you being more knee-jerk and ignorant.
Yeah, as soon as that sleazy looking guy gave her the password, I thought, Plot Complication Ahead!
But maybe they telegraphed it so loudly as a red herring.
Oh, I see "24" the exact way you do. I just love how the heroine gets all upset and worried about civil rights after a friggin nuclear weapon goes off in LA.
They must have hired some liberal writers and a pr department to smooze Rush -- if others can't see the slant, that's fine.
I must say it gave me a lot of enjoyment watching it over the years. It was TOTAL liberal crap in the last episode.
Take out all the things you dislike and it would be "Star Trek The Next Generation".
I just think this season sucks. One has to suspend disbelief to begin with...but this season is just ridiculous. Nothing makes any sense...NOTHING. I feel no emotional connection to this. Nobody to really root for...You'd hope in a time of crisis everybody would put their country above their personal stakes. And that's what I choose to believe would happen. Not what is being portrayed here. I think 24 will lose a large audience share this season.
The "conservative" is a democrat cabinet member. The cast is hyper multicultural though.
I also enthusiastically voted/supported someone who has embraced political correctness, wines and dines liberals, placates Mexico, and lets Officer Ramos languish in prison.
