Hello what have you been up today - I have been baking.

Made 2 seed cakes and a strawberry dessert cake with a mix sent to me by another freeper

Hi snugs,

Let's see, it was B-r-r-r cold here in Florida today: about 55 degrees this afternoon when I went out for coffee...:)

I know everybody else is in places where it is much colder, but to me that is cold!

You seem to do alot of baking (and posting nice pictures on the Daily Dose, I think?, right?) Good for you and those who get to enjoy what you bake. My sisters or mother used to bake cookies or a cake every Saturday afternoon. I loved to eat them but never picked up the habit...

You're a maaaaad scientist! I've NEVER heard of a caraway see cake! When I read 'seed cakes' I assumed you meant poppy seed, but in the later post I see caraway. I am intrigued now because I have only met caraway seeds in bread, sauerkraut, or meat like sausage. I never had it in a sweet. I'd love to try it. I'm keeping the recipe.
