My Cali (kitty) has always been like that.. well, until about 2 weeks ago. She has lost use of her hips & so cannot walk. I still bring her up on my lap when I am at computer at times & she will wrap both front paws around my neck & hold on while I key it. As she is also licking my face, it is hard to see most of time). She is a good cat & about 18 years old.

Dubya is so loving... I get him on my lap sometimes, but he's the size of a small border collie so that doesn't last long!

Maybe she has arthritis and the weather could be affecting her. I think Corky has a touch of arthritis from time to time, she wil lbe 18 in May. She still jumps up a lot though on many things and can run fast when she wants but there are times she cannot reach some spots to clean so I have to comb or brush her from time to time. Other than that, she gets around very well and eats like a pig and is still heavy and plump for her age. I'll pray for Cali and hope it is the weather, IIRC, you're on Northern, Ohio, I'm sure it is cold as heck, it sure is here in Pittsburgh or will be soon.

She Sounds Like the Sweetest Kitty, and I Love the Adorable Pic I've Seen of her with the Flag; she has the Most Beautiful Face. How Thankful I am for these Wonderful Gifts from our King's Hand, that become Some our Most Treasured Friends in this Life. (My Fang-Face was One of the Best Friends I've Ever had!)
