Espen Pettersen, Director of Windows Client at Microsoft Norway, recently visited a Norwegian newspaper to give a video interview and demo of Windows Vista.
Unfortunately for Microsoft's Windows OEMs such as Dell, HP, etc., he did not bring his own equipment, which harks back to last summer when, at a presentation of the oft-delayed Windows Vista and Office 2007 for a group of bloggers at Microsoft HQ in Diegem, Belgium, a Microsoft representative demoed the products on an Apple MacBook Pro.
Watch the Director of Windows Client at Microsoft Norway demo Windows Vista on an Apple iMac via VG TV (Norwegian) here.

To *really* teach Apple a lesson, the demo should have been run on a G5 iMac. ;')

English is the lingua franca of global computing.
Norwegian tv is certainly strange. The iguana penis amputation...mondo weirdo.

I've had many PCs. I have the intel iMac. The iMac is the fastest XP machine I've ever seen.
But now that I'm so used to Mac OS X, I hardly bother with XP any more.

Does that come in a laptop... and if so how much.
I need an upgrade and I am just sick of the PC that I have for business... all my fun stuff is on a G4 which can't run windows very well.

I had a Quadra for a long time. Great machine until I ran out of memory. And never used, or had to use, a virus protection program or firewall... Though I would now.

Check out the
Apple Store. Intel Laptops start at $1099. If you want to run Mac OS X and Windows, get as big a disk as you can possibly afford. I *believe* all the intel Macs can run both operating systems.
There is a product called: Parallels Desktop for Mac which lets you run XP along side Mac OS CX without the need to re-boot.

I work out of a home office and I was so sick of the Gateway laptop that my company provided me with that I purchased a 17" MacBook Pro. I did exactly as you said. I use MacOS X for everything...and have Parallels desktop to run XP. I have had it since July and have not needed to use XP for anything. I should also say I have MS Office for Mac which is much better than the XP version.

snip - The ombudsman has set a deadline of October 1 for the Apple to make its codes available to other technology companies so that it abides by Norwegian law. If it fails to do so, it will be taken to court, fined and eventually closed down.

Parallels works great. I had a bit of a problem getting the printer to work. I think I had to install Bonjoir or something. There tech support is fine. If you by a Mac from MacZone you get Parallels for free and sometimes that have XP very cheap. I'd run at least a GB of memory if you want to run Window via Parallels and Mac OS at the same time.
I like MacBooks.
