As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
Kerry has announced he will not run in 2008, saying it was his comments about the troops in Iraq, which he still refers to as a "misguided joke" that influenced his decision, but publicly stating he wants to stay in the Senate to fight against President Bush's "misguided" war in Iraq.
Vice President Cheney indicated the opponents (those would be DemoncRATS) don't have a policy regarding Iraq but would rather redeploy the troops or withdraw (actually, these are the same things, with the RATS simply fishing for a word that connects well and doesn't sound like surrender).
Congress seems to be pushing forward pell mell with legislation to provide a mass amnesty to illegal aliens.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
How did you sleep?
I'm not going to have an operation that will keep me in the hospital for 3-5 days. Greg said we could go to Portland, have my cousin replace my hip while Greg has a lobster tailgate party. Sheesh! What a guy!! LOL
Having watched my friends undergo knee and hip surgery, it seems to me Hips are easier than Knees.
Like a log. The prescribed Naproxen works well. I could take it 2 times a day, but I take it at once at night and soon....zzzzzzzzzzzz.
Well, I've finally made it thru the new Wayside Garden's catalog.
Why is it that hope for garden springs eternal in January and February, but everything goes to pot in July and August?
I'm not sure you saw the link I posted, but my cousin is fairly well known in replacement surgery. Through his mom, my aunt, I will get more info. Few surgeons use the procedure he and a few other doctors do. The patient is in and out in 24 hours.
Good morning! I'm just doing a drive-by before I go to an early morning exercise class. I'll check in later.
How are YOU doing these days?

This is a good one.........Author of article really dumps on Hillary.
I'm well, thanks. Looking forward to spring.
So glad you slept well, lysie.
Hey, tell Greg that if you ever do go to Portland for surgery, I'll join him at the lobster bake. My bro lives in Freeport.
;o)
So true about spring and flowers and hope..... and then July and August, IG.
Leaving today for southern abode and look forward to digging in the sandy dirt down there.
My cat just spilled my a.m. iced tea over the mouse pad, and onto the keyboard....spent the last 10 min. wiping it all up...turned the keyboard upside down, and gently shook it, and it seems to be okay...need a new mousepad, tho!!
Good morning lysie and everybody. Busy day here today so won't be able to post much.
We went to the Clay Cooper show that performs at Branson but is currently on tour last night. It was a very good show and he's very entertaining. Brought the Lord into the show as well as patriotism and denounced those who impose their will on everybody else such as the removal of the 10 Commandments from public buildings.
Have a great day everybody.
Mornin' LBKQ. You snuck in here while I was typing my other post
:^)
Hillary acts as if she is already President. Note to voters: she ain't and won't be if enough voters vote for anybody but her. The unappeasables and stay-at-homes put the dems in charge and look what's happened already....we've got 'em for 2 years. Let's not allow them 4-8 years more. I shudder to think what will happen if dems prevail in '08.
We love our cats, don't we? But, sometimes they are pains.
LB, Gerard Baker is always good for a thoughtful, conservative article. Wish there were more like him!
Well I finished 2 scarves I was knitting last night as I watched a little skating on ESPN
Utah Girl, I think this is Nationals week...check the ABC schedule for Sat...
Okay, the cat has returned to the scene of the crime...
BIG PAINS!!!
A surgeon once told me: hips are a relatively simply joint...the knee is something else entirely, and followup therapy is critical to success, very critical.
I haven't been out to see my pains, yet. If I'm not back in 5 minutes ..call 911. LOL
But on the news side, we really need some good posters like you would be...there's too much silly stuff over there, IMO.
